I do a fair amount of shipping and use packing tape on every box. Typically, I use the normal clear. Sometimes I need a stronger tape, especially when I am packing dishes or crystal. I wanted to be sure the tape is strong. The goStaunch tape is what I needed. Normally I use 3.1 mil tape, the goStaunch is 5.5, so almost twice as thick. The adhesive is good, no issues. But the fiberglass reinforcement is what makes the tape stand out. It is not going to easily be broken or cut. I have the goStaunch loaded in a tape gun. It rolls easy, but as would be expected it is a little tougher to cut it with the teeth that are on the gun. I practiced cutting a little bit, and found a little harder, quick cut was the best for me. I now have a gun with the standard 3.1 mil, and another with the goStaunch for when I need the extra strength. Aside from shipping, it would be a great tape for someone just packing moving boxes to put across the bottom to keep it from opening/dropping out. The goStaunch solves my need for a heavier, stronger tape. Recommended for packing when you need the extra security.

This tape works really well Excellent for sealing boxes meant for storage. Or for boxes that youre planning to travel with to a new location or ship through a carrier. But you better be sure about your decision when it comes to where you want this pape. Once you press it down its not coming off without a fight.

I loooove this tape - it’s extra sticky, holds great, but it’s very hard to cut, and it does leave a residue on all surfaces I’ve tried - wood, unfinished stone, glass, pvc plastic, and rubber!

The adhesive just isnt very sticky. The strapping inside is plenty strong its just its a weak adhesive they used.

I run a small reselling business and often ship heavy or fragile items. I always want to ensure that I have a sturdy tape that is up to the challenge and hate having to use a bunch of layers of tape to ensure the adhesion sticks. This strapping tape is exactly what I needed! it is thick and the adhesion is the best I have ever seen. With this tape I have faith that my package will not break open during shipping.

I do a lot of shipping of heavy boxes, so quality packing tape is always a concern. This reinforced tape solves all my worries though. Its heavy duty so you can use less without any issues. Ill be back for more!

I didnt realize they come with fiberglass stripes so thats an added bonus. They are very strong and similar to clear duct tapes. I wish they are tearable by hands but due to the toughness, you will need a scissor or a tape gun dispenser. Its very sticky with strong adhesive so do not use it on anything that may tear off varnish or paint.

This stuff is great for reinforcing boxes. There was one move when I knew I needed to load quickly and I would be tired when unloading so I packed accordingly using clothes as cushions and reinforced the boxes with strapping tape like this. I slung the boxes on the truck and stacked them when I had enough on it so I wouldnt have to keep going up and down from the truck with each box. Then, I literally threw them off the truck when at the destination to put less strain on me. Each box held up with strapping tape like this wrapped at key points around the boxes. I was able to make the transfer of our stuff from one place to another using this technique. I dont like the process of moving, by the way, so it was a little fun to just throw our stuff around. I packed it well so nothing got broken. Clothing is a cheap and very effective packing material.
