take the cover off and you have a easy to use measuring cup. cover on keeps your drink hot for a good amount of time.

Absolutely attention to every detail was made for this mug! Its fairly large and the internal lexan(?) mug pops out for easy cleanup. Its insulated, so the boiling water doesnt burn your hands. It has a large enough handle that folds out of the way for packing. It doubles as a measuring cup. The bottom is made of non-slip neoprene. Great camping mug. lightweight, easy to keep clean. the outer lining comes off for cleaning if needed and the mug on the inside is marked for measuring liquids if needed.

The handle is floppy and the color is not as brilliant as pictured.

This is my second mug..i really like it. The other one I have had 2 years. The new one will go in a different kit. I use them mainly to eat from great for oatmeal..soup..stews..etc..but have had coffee in them before. I like the idea the top is secure..keeps creepy crawlies out when im not looking and helps keep contents warm. The cover is washable..i just dunk it in some water with a bit of soap and rub it good if it gets really nasty then hang to dry. The cup is very lightweight I think even a gram weenie backpacker would like it..LOL!!
