> 3 dayI purchased my backpacker mug from a local outfitter rather than wait for amazon because the prices were similar. I am an avid outdoors man, college student and work in an IT position on campus. This mug fits my needs for all three of those. This mug nestles very nicely with my Outdoor Leadership iCamp stainless steel mug. Ive found that you can hang the mug from a biner and the steel mug holds on very tightly, it will not fall off and will keep the internal plastic mug from falling out of the cover as well. I pair this mug with a GSI Ultralight Java Drip for coffee on the go. I show what I carry with me while Im on campus. The only thing that changes when Im on the trail is that I replace my thermos with a Solo Stove 900 and an OUTAD Spirit Burner and stand. When I make coffee using this mug I remove the cup from the sleeve so as to not stain the cover if coffee accidentally makes its way over the edge of the mug.

> 3 dayI really love this cup and have had multiple. My only complaint is the graduations on the outside of the cup. They wear off after use and make the cup useless for measuring. Is still a great cup. If GSI molded the graduations into the cup it would be perfect in my opinion. Overall worth the purchase especially with the new subdued colors.

> 3 dayFirst of all, this mug is cheap. Its nice to have one piece of gear that isnt crazy expensive. Now Its not an insulated mug, or titanium, which is actually good and not a negative. I think the design is actually superior. Say you are boiling water for a soup or beverage and you dont want to wait 30 minutes for it to cool down, you will appreciate this. Secondly you can transfer some of that heat in the mug to your hands, with or without gloves, which is again, not a negative when you get up at 4:50 a.m. in a frigid alpine area and would really like to warm up. This mug also can be used as a measuring cup since it is transparent and has lines for measuring.

> 3 dayLoved this! Great at campsite to measure out water for dehydrated meals, then enjoy a hot cup of tea while breakfast cooks. Seems lightweight and I love the green color. Comfortable to hold and drink from.

> 3 dayThe O-ring around the lid cracked and fell off the first time I used it. it was right before a big backpacking trip, so I bought another from a shop in Pinedale, WY and the o-ring works (so far) on that one. I dont know if my first one was a fluke, or maybe it had been on the shelf too long? The o-ring is a weak link though because the lid wont stay on if its missing and the cup will leak. I like that the cup slides in and out of the insulation, and it has measurement markings that are readable.

> 3 dayThis is the best backpacking mug I’ve found. Lightweight and now has measuring tics on the side. Check the colors vs price. The black one was 1/2 the cost of the others!

> 3 dayThis little cup is great for camping and backpacking. The measuring cup marks are helpful when prepping meals. Super lightweight and easy to clean. This cup is not meant to be leakproof. Overall, a great, inexpensive cup.
