> 3 dayI have several of these scattered around in packs and such. These make good backpacking/camping cups for my coffee and soup along with my MSR windburner.

> 3 dayI havent actually used this yet, but I like it already. I have the GSI French Press, which is very similar in construction, which I love. So I didnt hesitate to buy this mug. Initial impression is great. Construction and quality is the usual GSI quality. Very pleased so far.

> 3 dayi love this mug. the only thing i added to it was a thick rubber band around the actual cup part so that the cup would not slide out of the sleeve.

> 3 dayGreat mug. Ive been on countless backpacking trips with this cup and it has been through the ringer and held its own. The sleeve is a bit slippery, but that is the only drawback. Some say the lid does not stay on well, but thats only right once you put scalding hot liquid inside and close the sip hole, any lid would see that same pressure from hot liquid. I highly recommend this mug!

> 3 dayLove these cups. The cup removes from the sleeve making it easy to wash or measure with. The sleeve is easy to clean as well and the handle has come in handy more than once. Very lightweight and can easily be clipped onto the outside of a pack for easy travel.

Greater than one weekI love coffee and this is the mug I use hiking, backpacking, and camping. keep the coffee hot, easy to drink from, and easy to clean.

Greater than one weekGreat mug, really, but the drink lid/mug lip combination constantly causes me to spill on myself as I drink. Maybe I’m inept. Anybody else have this issue?

16-04-2025This mug is perfect for backpacking. I just take the insulation off and put in cup with my stove and Snow Peak foldable long spoon, and then it fits perfectly into my Evernue ultralight titanium pot. I dont need the Evernue mug for measuring since this mug has it already. Extremely light set up.

> 3 dayI am giving this cup 5 stars, because I could not give 4.5. the only reason its not a perfect cup for me is that like others said, the cover does inded let the smooth plastic cup slide out pretty easily, BUT...THAT IS TOTALLY EASILY FIXED by simply putting a wide rubber bad around the mid section of the cup, then putting the fabric cover back on. very tight then. I personally do not need long lasting thermal protection, so this is great for me, but if you stuff to stay super hot or cold for very long time, you need to spend more $, but im your avg joe, and this will hold my coffee just fine as long as I care to drink it inn the camping morning. some things are worth the $, with simple tweeks, and this is one. and all you need, is a wide rubber band. Dont permanently glue it, that ruins the fabric for cleaning, simply put the rubber band on, and it works great, but is still removable. Its all you need to counter the slipperiness of the plastic.
