> 3 dayGreat variety of flavors for longs days of cycling. I usually have one every 20 miles with a bottle of water.

> 3 daySome flavors taste fake to people with good taste buds. Product is really just a mixture of things you cant pronounce, and probably dont want to stick in your body, but it works as intended, and makes my cycling trips go a lot better. TBH, you could probably drop a multivitamin, and a couple tablespoons of honey into a coffee mug and probably get the same effect, but then you have more dishes to wash and a higher chance of getting your car messy.

> 3 dayI bought this variety pack because I didnt want to commit to any one flavor before I had an opportunity to try them all. I think the word Indulgent in the descriptor is a bit misleading. Heres my review of the flavours: 1. Vanilla Bean- Not great, but better than the birthday-cake flavored gels from the same company (not in this variety pack, thank god). 2. Salted Caramel- SO. SWEET. Even on my longest run, this was inedible because of how sweet it was. Im really unsure of how they achieved this, because none of the others are this unpalatably sweet. 3. Caramel Macchiato- better than the Salted Caramel flavor. Not my favorite of the bunch, but not the worst. 4. Chocolate Outrage- This was definitely my favorite and I can honestly say that I LIKED it. Tasted just like brownie batter. 5. Espresso Love- Also one of the better flavors! It really does have a nice espresso taste to it that isnt too strong, nor too sweet, but pretty satisfying! Overall, I do recommend this product especially if youre not sure what flavors you want to rely on when youre dying on your long runs or hardest and longest workouts. Theyre also gluten-free, vegan, and caffeinated to boot!

> 3 dayI questioned whether or not these were actually working or if I was experiencing placebo effect so I brought it to one of my Anatomy professors to look at. He looked over the ingredients list and then proceeded to delve into the science of how & why it works. I will save you the boring to most/fascinating to me details - definitely not placebo effect! Essentially, its helping your body produce the ATP it needs to keep you going. So its definitely working the way that it should. The Toasted Marshmallow are my absolute favorite flavor followed by the Salted Caramel.

> 3 dayAs an endurance athlete (running, bicycling) I have used many types, brands, and flavors of energy foods. I am partial to GU, as it goes down easy, gives little to no stomach upset, and has a predictable effect on my workout. I was very excited to see the Caramel Macchiato flavor, and had to give it a try. Typically I have days that I want to carry fruit flavors, and days that I opt for the sweets... I could carry the Caramel Macchiato GU any day, and I would be happy. The taste is distinct, yet oddly neutral, it goes down smooth and easy, and has good mouth-feel. It washes down well with water, and if you happen to grab a sports drink accidentally at a water station, it does not give a stomach-churning clash. The gel acts fairly quickly, and does not give a quick crash. If I had to pick just one gel to run or bike with from now on, GU Caramel Macchiato is it!

> 3 dayI burned out on Gu a long time ago and for years avoided it. When I tried the French Toast Gu it reignited my love (and use) of gu. The flavor is unique (not all fruity or vanilla or chocolate) but not heavy. It has a yummy, buttery maple syrup flavor that isnt too sweet. Right now I alternate between French Toast gu and Toasted Smore GU and I actually look forward to taking nutrition during runs now. Perfect for long runs (pre or during nutrition).
