> 3 dayAlso got this idea from another reviewer only difference is I use 12 gauge copper solid wire to hold my alligator clips I soldered the clips on the wire and have about an inch to inch and a half stick out for. Perfect adjustment REALLY great idea and perfect helping hands plus solder holder very solid

> 3 dayEven if you dont have a dedicated workspace (which I dont) this is great. I have my clean and no-clean reels on here. It has a handle so I can easily lift it from its storage space and carry it to my workspace. It has a rubber base so it doesnt move around. Just perfect. Instructions for assembly were pictorial and easy to follow.

> 3 dayThis is a pretty simple product, so there isnt too much to say - which is good. Solid, easy to assemble, does well what is supposed to do. I like the wire solder guides that clip in; I had another holder where the guide was made from flat metal that was screwed on. That one constantly lost screw tension and just hung limply.

> 3 dayHeavy solid construction. Makes it easy to switch between solder types / and diameters at a moments notice. A real time saver and reduces clutter on the bench.

Greater than one weekBuilt from heavy steel plates, which make it sturdy, and rubber padding stops it from sliding everywhere. Though the only issue I have is that the wire guide is bit flimsy, and since its not fixed, it tends to move downwards.

Greater than one weekI cant argue with any of the reviews here. Everyone seems to have nailed this gem for the bench. What I havent seen yet is how this thing can be modified to get more use from it. Attached are a few photos showing the addition of two Magnetic base dial indicator holders ($15.00 each) with alligator clips (10c each). The photos say it all. The two holders can be used to hold any number of things that need to be soldered, in practically any position.
