Built from heavy steel plates, which make it sturdy, and rubber padding stops it from sliding everywhere. Though the only issue I have is that the wire guide is bit flimsy, and since its not fixed, it tends to move downwards.

Quality is decent and assembly was easy.

Very well built, feels very solid. There is even a point to connect a grounding wire if you are particularly concerned about ESD. My only complaint is that it is a bit expensive for what it is, but I have no doubts it will last for decades so Im not that upset about it.

I love this stand. Its wide enough that it can actually hold 4 rolls. I have 3 rolls of different sized solder on it, plus 1 roll of braided solder wick. This is a must have for any workbench.

I bought two of these beauties and am pleased with their build and operation. However, the reason I bought two was because I have a few spools of solder from days gone by. In those days the spools were wider than these dispensers can hold. Bummer! The spools that do fit in these dispensers work perfectly. If the manufacturer offers wider dispensers I have not found them.

Solid metal construction, stable base, and even a little carry handle. Im thinking about getting a second one.

just received this but it seems like a nice idea. with 2 spools, the combined weight will keep it from moving around on your bench. I have 2 thicknesses of solder so the dual spool idea makes perfect sense. paint finish was top quality. this seems like a good deal for those who do a lot of soldering.
