> 3 dayThe stand is heavy which is a very good thing because it does not tip over when pulling out fresh solder from a fresh roll. Thin solder can be pulled easily on the supplied plastic spindles, which are easy to remove and replace from the rear. If your solder is breaking youre pulling too fast. Assembly is easy and Hakko includes a exploded view for assembly. If you cant assemble it you probably should not have a hot iron around anyway. I keep it on my workbench, so I cant say anything about the handle other than it has one. It also has a ground screw which is a real bonus for using with a anti static grounding mat. The cheap stuff often uses the word professional when it obviously is not, but the Hakko actually is.

> 3 dayI didnt realize how heavy this stand was until I received it. Its made of solid steel plates. That is so nice! No tipping over or sliding around the work area.

> 3 dayI got tired of not having solder handy on the bench or having it in the way when it was on the bench. I got one of these and liked it enough to get a second. So now I have 4 sizes of solder at hand on my bench. This is quite really solid construction. I was surprised at the thickness of the metal they used. It is a simple item but handy to have.

Greater than one weekGood, solid design and heavy base. Does what it needs to do and doesnt take a lot of space on the bench. 5/5 stars
