Sturdy and stable. Fits Kester and Chipquik solder spools. Tidies up my bench to have fine and thick spools in one spot.

Works great - some reviewers had issues with small solder. I used .02 and .027 Kester solder and had no issues with it breaking. Really nice to have my benchtop organized with quick and easy access to the solder.

I cant argue with any of the reviews here. Everyone seems to have nailed this gem for the bench. What I havent seen yet is how this thing can be modified to get more use from it. Attached are a few photos showing the addition of two Magnetic base dial indicator holders ($15.00 each) with alligator clips (10c each). The photos say it all. The two holders can be used to hold any number of things that need to be soldered, in practically any position.
