> 3 dayGreat iron still in shock at the speed this thing will heat up in. Started a stopwatch when I plugged it in and had a 18 gage wire tinned 11 seconds later.

> 3 dayPurchased for stained glass. It is light weight and easy yo hold and handle. It maintains its temperature so soldering is easy and tip doesn’t have issues.

> 3 dayThe temp control, makes it much easier to create perfect solder joints. Have had issues before soldering outside edges as well, on stained glass projects with fixed temp irons. Dont be fooled by the cheaper model of look alike

> 3 daySo far it is great. Handle does get warm to the touch; you notice it when you are holding it; not hot enough to burn but added heat in the summertime! Also, I noticed after about 3 weeks I have a little pitting on the tip already. It took 6 years before I saw pitting on my old soldering iron... I use the iron about 6 hours a week.

> 3 dayI love this little iron. It heats incredibly quickly. It is small, light, and easy to use. It is half of the size of my old Hakko iron, which I really liked, but like this better. It has been doing a great job on my glass project. I do have a couple of complaints. The temperature scale is in C. I had to make a translation sheet and keep it nearby. Second. It could use an on/switch. But overall, this is a great tool.
