Hakko FX601-02 Adjustable Temperature Controlled Soldering Iron, 67 Watts

This soldering iron heats up very fast and I like that a lot. the only thing I dont like about it is the power cord. the cord is very stiff... If they put a more flexible cord on this iron I would absolutely love it.

I love the way this iron keeps consistent heat. The temperature setting is right on the handle. No need for a controller. I use this for stained glass

Nice weight and balance. Heats up very quickly. Much better than other guns and irons I have used. Highly recommend.

This is definitely the best soldering iron on the market, It has a temp selector and it holds the temp selected with no problems, The only drawback and it is a very small drawback; is most of the instructions are in Japanese! but there were pictures so even I could figure it out. Used this on my first stained glass piece and it was soooooooooooo easy to use. So dont waste your money on other brands of soldering irons buy the best first,

Not nearly the quality expected for $100.

I use it for stained glass and I cant ever go back to anything else. I love this thing
