Greater than one weekBought this in the past. Love it to death. You will see dead bugs all over, noticeably works. My only issue, the applicator is cracked so the nozzle doesnt shot it out right. I specifically bought this one for the applicator bottle so I can stop throwing clumps by hands and manually spending it. Plus its supposed to help get in tight places.

01-12-2024I originally purchased this to kill these little bugs we found in our house that look like brown ladybugs. After doing research we found out they are called carpet beetles and might have come after we just had new carpeting installed. Sometimes carpet beetles and bed bugs can be infested in these warehouses where the carpet is stored. Anyways, we were going on vacation and so we put it on our carpet and left for 3 days and when we came back and vacuumed it up we havent seen any since. BE SURE TO USE AN N95 MASK. I was looking at some of the reviews and noticing the health benefits. I started doing more research and found the following information. For those of you wondering, it is pronounced Die - Tah - Matous - Earth. Mix with water or your favorite drink (juice, milk, smoothie, etc). Heres the dosage that Ive been following. Week 1 — 1 TBSP (AM or PM) Weeks 2 & 3 — 2 TBSP (AM + PM) Weeks 4 & 5 — 1 TBSP (AM or PM) - always take 1hr before meals or 2hr after meals - weeks 6 and beyond, continue with 1 TBSP a day for 4 days straight, then take 3 days off Drink Option #1 I use 12 ounces of almond milk with no sweetener. Add 5 drops of stevia, Keto elevate mix, and 1 TBSP of food grade diatomaceous earth. Blend using handheld frother. Option #2 I use 12 ounces of alkaline water. Add 3/4 scoop of vanilla protein, Keto elevate mix, and 1 TBSP of food grade diatomaceous earth. Blend using handheld frother. This product is so naturally rich in silica and 28 other trace minerals. It helps to lower your cholesterol, lower your blood pressure, strengthens your hair and nails, kills worms and parasites, helps clear up your skin, decreases inflammation, and helps with joint pain. Initially, you may feel some side effects, such as headaches and flu-like symptoms. These are caused by the toxins leaving your body and the killing of parasites (this is not a cause for alarm). If these symptoms persist, however, lower your diatomaceous earth intake. This will slow the release of toxins and reduce the side effects.

> 3 dayI live in an old apartment that has a roach problem which has caused so much stress and anxiety in my life. I struggled trying to control the problem any way that I could (different baits, the roach birth control, diy roach killer) but everything I did seemed to make the problem worse! My anxiety was so bad that I had to leave all my lights on to deter them from popping out :(. After all my failed methods, I finally bought this product and sprayed it all over my floor. It stopped them from coming out for a few days, which was a relief (even though I knew they were still there it was nice to be able to walk around without being scared). Eventually they started coming out again, probably to find some water, and had to cross through the powder which eventually killed them. I literally thought the roach problem couldn’t be controlled and I would have to live in fear in my apartment but luckily the problem has significantly improved! I have no doubt that this product will completely eliminate whatever bugs are left and I’ll finally be able to be comfortable in my apartment. I’d highly recommend this for bug control.

> 3 dayMy pic isn’t he best however, the product works to deter some pest out of your garden but def not all (I.e ants) as they will just crawl under and around it. Please be advised it is a powder so once it rains or the soil area is wet you will have to reapply the DE to that are (hence why it’s hard to see in my pic as the soil is wet). It can create a hardness in the soil as well if allowed to dry on top of soil after being wet)… overall will keep using it for my garden

Greater than one weekI purchased these for use against Argentine ants. The included duster doesnt really dust so much as shoot a stream, so maybe purchase a separate duster if you just want a fine layer. If youre fine with just blasting diatomaceous earth everywhere, then youll be fine with the included duster. This stuff works well against ants. For Argentine ants in particular, use it dust around entry points. Itll cut up and dry out their exoskeletons to kill them, but ultimately it only acts as a deterrent. Ants will stop coming from where you dust and generally stay away from the dusted areas, but they will just find another entry point. This is a band-aid and not a solution. Diatomaceous earth should be used to corral the ants to places you dont mind them being, where you can deploy further baits and potentially pesticides to actually solve the problem. While useful, it should be used as a part of a more complete home infestation treatment. Sprinkle diatomaceous earth where you dont want ants, but keep it away from baits and pesticide treated places so the ants will properly find the means to eliminate themselves.

> 3 dayI put this around the perimeter of my home inside and out! I haven’t seen any crawling bugs in a LONG TIME! I am getting ready to move to a new location and I’ll definitely be using this product to get rid of AND prevent any unwanted critters from entering my home.

> 3 dayI’d read on the Internet that I could sprinkle this indoors and then simply vacuum it up. That wasn’t true. I sprinkled it in a room that wasn’t well ventilated, and it caused a lot of harm to my breathing, red irritated eyes, and other health problems. I tried clearing it out with air purifiers that had HEPA filters, plus 3 different kinds of vacuums that all had HEPA filters, including an industrial HEPA vac and a ship vac. The particles from the diatomaceous earth were so small that a lot of them passed through the HEPA filters. I got the carpet steam cleaned three times and I also hired a disaster cleaning company to use industrial air scrubbers. I finally had to remove the carpeting in the room. Use with caution, especially in rooms that aren’t well ventilated!
