Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

Nice and LOUD!

Easy wired add-on siren for home alarm. As others her mentioned, it isnt quite as loud as hoped. This is a secondary siren that I mounted in the garage, so my alarm could be heard from the street. For the price, I think its good.

My only complaint is that the screw down block should be easier to get to. Otherwise, the alarm is perfectly loud enough for indoor use. Id get a larger and weatherproof siren for outdoor use however.

It is okay not what I expected

Very good siren. I would give it 5 stars, but it is not as loud as I would have liked. Being that it is powered by the alarm system, and not an external source though, that kind of was expected. I purchased two and put one inside and the other in the garage. Seems to be plenty loud that way, as only having the one in the house was not audible from the street unless a door was open.

Works great and easy to install. And is loud enough but not too loud. And is very compact compared to other brand I looked at. And has two choices for tones!

I used it in my mini van because I installed an aftermarket remote door lock. Im using it for the audible tone. Its mounted inside the car and you can hear it very well outside.

Easy install and plenty loud for inside. Take care to place well above head level as this could cause hearing loss - just a short burst testing on my bench was piercing.

Super Loud and reliable, Love this thing. Much better than the wireless units. Had mine for 5 year with no issues.
