Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

Really loud, good quality

Its LOUD which is a good thing. Its cheap another good thing. It has an option for two different sounds. One is a steady siren and the other one is a wobbly siren. The wobbly option is what most people have heard as part of a home security alarm. Its easy to wire just deiced which sound you want a hook up the positive and negative wires and our done. It has a few different options for mounting and wire inlets. The hinged opening was handy.

This is a great siren...especially for the $$$. Have it hooked up to a relay connected to a 12v power supply and Arduino microcontroller being controlling by my Hubitat (home automation hub). It triggers very quickly and is very loud. The pitch is such that it seems to echo all throughout the house and can even be heard outside. For the price, I wouldnt hesitate to buy again. Just purchased a second to place under the eves outside.

Works good

Not quite as loud as I would have liked - wanted something that would drive bad guys away if they got inside. But, I believe its loud enough to wake me up.

It only made terrible noise. Returned it!

but people will not hear it outside The price is right to buy multiple units. Have 1 inside and one outside under the eaves of each end of the house.. Outside sirens are connected in series with a fuse so if a burglar were to short out the power wire on one, it will not short out other sirens or the entire alarm.
