> 3 dayGreat product for the price. I bought three of these and they all work great. My only real complaint is that theyre fairly thick and they stand out if mounted on a wall.

> 3 dayWas looking for a cheap bilge pump alarm solution to put on my boat. I have an Ultra Safety Systems pump switch senior with a high water switch. Their battery backed up alarm costs $174. The Energizer E2s have a 3000mAh capacity and the 500mA load of the Wave-2 siren is well within the operating range of the E2 batteries. Should get over 6 hours of constant alarm. Could add a circuit to cycle it on and off and get many more hours. The E2 batteries have a 20 year shelf life. So a well assembled system housed in a dry area on the boat should be a perfect solution.

> 3 dayYeah baby! Ok that out of the way. I wired a 5v power supply to this horn, so once plugged in, it fires its ear destroying wobbly screeches. I then connect it to a smart outlet, which acts a siren for my door and motion sensors. A cheap way to add a siren to your DIY security setup. Put it in a room with vaulted ceilings for extra ear piercing echoing sound.

20-11-2024I recently updated my wired 24v home security system to a smart home 12v system that utilized the legacy wires and sensors. Bought this to replace the 24v siren that was weak due to only receiving 12v from the new control board. Very loud and annoying, as a siren should be.
