Honeywell WAVE-2 Two Tone Siren

Low current draw and loud. Seems in open area you can hear it clearly up to about 500 feet and it uses very little power to do it. This is a winner after trying more than a dozen other sirens.

No instructions not sure how it works. Going to Battery and Bulbs for help

These sirens are LOUD! I installed two of them with my Vista-20p panel, Kinda regretting installing two of them because they are so freaking loud haha. Has the option of either steady tone or wobble, i personally like the wobble tone better but both are very effective.

yeah so this expects you to provide your own power cord and literally wire it up to the electronics yourself. I hadnt expected that.

Oh my goodness, cant believe an $8 siren will be this loud. It is very good for my project. I bought two and attached them on wifi smartplugs on our back deck and front porch where I have Arlo cameras installed. So if I see anyone suspicious roaming around our property, I control the siren with smartplug and scare them off. You do need to connect the siren wires to a 12v power adapter which is very simple.

I use two of these with our SmartThings home hub and a SmartThings plug. Works great. Keep the dogs out of the house when testing. He howled, oh man did that dog howl. lol

Needed self powered siren to wire to control panel. Works great.
