On first use Im pretty impressed! Most importantly it has pretty good suction, but its also fairly light weight so you can carry it around while cleaning upholstery without it being annoying. The cord is long which is nice, but the hose isnt. Its still plenty serviceable but good to keep in mind that the hose doesnt go more than about 3-4 feet. Mostly Im impressed by the variety of little details they included to make the cleaning of the machine easier, with all but the motor itself being easy to disassemble for cleaning. My only real critique at this point would be to say that the solution sprayer is pretty wimpy, and doesnt work great at angles. Generally this just means it takes a little longer to cover a surface with the solution, but its a pretty minor issue overall. 4.5/5 would recommend

I would’ve given this a 5 star because it cleans great but the spray button sticks and soaks everything.

I wanted something to clean my carpeted staircase. Initially I was looking at a full carpet cleaning machine but most of the reviews for those units said they were okay for stairs but not great. So I decided to find a smaller unit that would be easier to move around but would have great suction. This Hoover fit the bill. It’s very easy to use and pretty light even with liquid in it. I initially cleaned my stairs but I was so impressed I started to tackle other stains in other rooms. It was getting addicting. I would highly recommend using this with Folex which does an amazing job of removing all types of carpet stains. PROS - Easy to set up. - Easy to use. - Suction is pretty good. - The wide brush head is really useful on stairs and elsewhere. - Self cleaning tube option is helpful to keep the tube clean. - Everything comes apart easily so you can clean and dry everything. - it’s small enough to store and carry around. - long extension cord CONS - It’s loud but that’s expected. - I’m skeptical about the life span of the plastic heads and tubes. - I wish there was like an extension pole attached to the head so I could get better leverage by standing. - I wish the vacuum tube was a bit longer.

After so many reviews I decided to buy this little machine to clean my carpet and coaches and let me tell you, is a great purchase.

I bought this to clean up after doggy mistakes and it works well. I especially like the self-cleaning feature.

Im not sure of I received a defective one or not.. but the spray nozzle to spray the solution only drips out the solution rather than spray it, if this thing is supposed to spray I might have to send it back. But other than that the suction itself is a bit weak but the product does what it says and worked really well on my couch, the permanent stain remover solution it comes with works wonders as well. This would have been a 5 star product of it actually sprayed the solution and the suction was a bit better.

The product works and it’s nice but it’s hassle with unrolling the cord. I have a dog and she’s a puppy and accidents happen all the time.

I got this because we got a puppy. It works very well in my opinion. Very good suction and easy to use, lightweight. The hose split near the nozzle so I called Amazon. It had passed the 3 month return window even though I had only used it 3 times. Amazon offered to replace it anyway but I just wanted to replace the hose. The gave me the number to the hoover folks and after sending them proof of purchase as well as photos they said they cant just get a replacement hose. They replaced to whole thing. All in all the process was a bit of a hassle and in hindsight I wish I had taken the return from Amazon. I just thought all I needed was the hose but didnt know they dont just replace hoses.
