I have pets and carpet, so therefore I have carpet cleaners. Ive had the little green machine for about 8 years. It does a great job on the small incidents, but is such a hassle to use. The small holes to fill and empty it make it a chore. You cant clean it in any capacity, I dread using it. The last time I used it, it was apparent it needed replaced. So I started researching to see if there was a better option. This one cost a bit more, but after seeing its features, I didnt even hesitate. 2 days after it was delivered, my dog so sweetly gave me the chance to use it. It cleaned the spot like a champ, and then emptying and cleaning it was a dream. Large openings to dump out and actually clean it. The hose rinser is a delight (Im easily amused). Cleaning carpets is not fun, but this little machine makes it more tolerable than it was with the other machine. And in the end, thats about all you can ask for.

Some old dogs leave puddles on the carpets. I have a large Hoover carpet shampooer that I love, but it seemed a bit cumbersome to haul out every time our sweet old dog pees on the rugs. I bought this smaller Hoover for that spot cleaning. I have mixed feelings. The shampoo alone doesnt do the trick at eliminating odor. They do include an additive for the shampoo that is advertised as a remedy for odor. I think Ill try a few drops of Dawn, and see how that works. I cant say that its much faster to clean the small Hoover than it is to clean the big one, when the job is finished and its time to put it away. The small one has no brushes to clean, but it does have a number of parts that need to be cleaned. The small size is great, and very easy to carry around. Glad I bought it, and am mostly pleased with how well it works.

I opened the box to find the brush with carpet fibers and water spots on the cleaning solution cup. The description didnt mention anything about being pre-owned/used. I paid for a new product, I expect a new product; not used. Ill repurchase the item. I expect it to be new. Not used.

I spilt a full cup of black coffee on my beige carpet, tossed paper towels down then grabbed this machine and went to work with it. It cleaned that coffee away and other stains as well. I would buy this again if I needed two of them.

I used this on my couch cushions and OMG... Lets just say... Im glad I bought this! Easy to use, it is not heavy, I like the premix solution better than the concentrated, due to it just being easier. But yes, buy this ofr your furniture. It also got this old stain off of the floor as well! I recommend this product.

I absolutely love this for cleaning up after pets or kids. On carpet, furniture, mattresses, and even for the vehicle. The only downside is it is uncomfortable on hands after long term use, the grip area could be softer or cushioned.

Ive been using this cleaner for a few days now, on stairs, small areas of carpet, and a couple stubborn stains. Ill start with the Pros: - Very simple to use, lightweight, great mobility - The hose cleaning feature is a great added bonus - Cleans well, comes with additional rubber nub brush. Did a great job removing stains - Wide tool head, perfect width for stairs - Cord is long, so no extension cords needed - Ive used it a half dozen times and it hasnt leaked any water - Every component breaks down super easily for simple cleaning, a rare plus with carpet cleaners Cons: - Suction isnt great, so drying time takes longer (use a fan to speed up the process) - Hose could be longer...another foot or so would be ideal Overall, very pleased so far...and its a steal for $110!

This does not allow for a lot of water to be sucked into the dirty water container. It says full when it’s about halfway full, which makes for several trips back and forth to finish our couch or living room rug. Suction is great, easy to use. It’s a bit loud, and the dirty water says it fills fast. Came with some solution when we bought it so that was handy.

As of right now, this works better. The suction is better, it’s not as loud, and the attachment is very wide.
