07 kawasaki zx6r valve adjustment @ 11,000 miles. Bought it for 60-80$, could be cheaper, but these are quality. These are what you want to put on a brand new bike.

I verified every shim before use and all where within spec. Size and fit was very good on the bike. Box is very useful to store many shims.

Only problem i found was some shims were rusted very minor. Shims were marked as 3.00mm as example but with calipers I measured them as 2.97mm. Not a big deal for me but if you need the exact 3.00mm to make your clearance perfect you may have trouble. Very good overall experience! A++

This shim kit is perfect for It has every size I will ever need for my bike when servicing it. You cant beat the price either. Local dealer sells them for $120 so if you need a kit this is the place to get it!!!

I bought this kit and used it 2x on my CRF250r. No problems at all except you buy tons of shims and only need like 2. Basically, it saves you the trouble of opening up your bike, THEN running out to Honda and HOPING they have the shim(s) you need. If youre gonna do shims, youll need a micrometer like this one; http://www.amazon.com/General-Tools-001-Inch-Graduation-Micrometer/dp/B00004T7UD/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1356827905&sr=8-2&keywords=micrometer I believe this is the one I have. Its fine for the $. The only issue is, its in inches and the shims are in mm. No big deal. I did the job in inches, figured what I needed in inches then searched the box using the micrometer to select the proper shim. Its easy, you can do it if youre handy. Follow your manual.

Used this kit to replace the shims in my 2006 Honda Ruckus. Which means these shims also fit a Honda Metropolitan. Basically a lifetime supply of shims for these small scooters.

I bought this kit to check and adjust the valves on my sons dirt-bike, a CRF250X. This kit was perfect, and helped me to make fine adjustments on his valves immediately, as the issues were found. Im glad I had this kit handy.

Did not include 3 of each (some had just one, some had five per) but its enough that itll last me. I was concerned about wear rates so I contacted the manufacturer and they said these will hold up in my kawasaki zx6r. With the shim kits there are just so many applications that we can’t list them all on the site. The shims will hold up just fine in your ZX6R as they hold up well in many street bike applications. They are heat treated steel so there shouldn’t be any issues with them.

Ive used this kit on about 3 different dirt bikes and so far so good. accurate on all planes too. anytime theres something wrong and i try to blame it on the cams turns out I messed up and the cams did fine. having 2-3 cams per size is great to.

The shims worked as expected but several of them have rust spots. They need to coat them in oil before packaging.
