Hot Cams 7.48mm Complete Shim Kit HCSHIM01 for Honda CRF Kawasaki KX Suzuki RMZ Yamaha WR YZ Dirt Bikes

I bought this set for my 2005 Honda Ruckus. It came with a large variety of shims.I have already used it on my bike and a few friends bikes. Hot Cams sells some great products and this is one of them. Everything is clearly labeled and takes the guess work out of finding the correct shim. Any bike I own in the future I will buy a Hot Cams shim kit for without question. The case had a crack in it from shipping but a pice of tape and it is good as new. All the shims are well oiled and will last a long time storage.

Product came completely mixed up from shipping so I had to empty and sort. Found out they didnt put any 2.10 shims and put 6 2.15 shims. I bought for dirtbikes so I do not need to go that high but it still sucks.

Worked great for my 06 Yamaha R6. Gave 4 stars because when they arrived they were all mixed up. Took me a while to separate them into the right sizes. Not a big deal but did take a while to resort them. Definitely need a better organizer for shipping, but other than that they worked great.

The labels on each of the shims are not clear. Have to use a caliper to see the actual size of each shim.

Worth the Money.

Best purchase I could have made! A few of the shims were slightly off, but a majority were dead on when measured. Excellent product!

What I like is you are getting 3 of ever size, now there is another set for $32 but you get only 1 shim, I figure but this set because if you run into having two that are the same size needed your not going to have it in the other deal, you will pay about $5 and up for another shim, plus wait time, this is a no Brainer, just like any tool, yiu might not use it all the time but when you need it it there, just go for buying this one, it will pay off dkwn tbe road and its made very well, good luck.

Wide range of shims that covered all I needed for my valve adjustment. The snap lock tab is nice to keep the case from opening accidentally.. Was able to easily swap shims and get the clearance dialed in pretty evenly. Bike is running great!
