> 3 dayHad all the shims I needed. Had to replace shims for my 2014 FZ-09. All exhaust valves were to tight. These Lil ching-a-deeries here saved a bunch of time and made the job easy. Couldnt be more happier.

> 3 dayGreat value for the price. The case doesnt do a good job of keeping the sizes separate, if you tip it on its end or upside down they get all mixed up and you need to read the sizes off of them to sort them. Which can be tedious and difficult. I recommend sorting them some other way.

> 3 dayWorked great for my 06 Yamaha R6. Gave 4 stars because when they arrived they were all mixed up. Took me a while to separate them into the right sizes. Not a big deal but did take a while to resort them. Definitely need a better organizer for shipping, but other than that they worked great.

> 3 dayIts a nice kit. I bought this to use for my 2005 Suzuki V Strom. Fortunately, when I went to check the valves, I didnt need to make any changes. That saved me labor, but it means I havent actually used the kit yet!

> 3 daythe description says they are 7.48mm diameter shins which is what i need for my 2007 crf 250. they sent me 9.5mm shims. luckily i can use these for my 2004 trx450r but i need to adjust the valves in my bike. disappointed. otherwise always a great product from hot cams but here it was the seller marketing the wrong item..

21-11-2024Works well, definitely needed if you want to do your own valve work. These fit a KLX250s fine. More sizes than you will ever need.... Only reason i took off 1 star is because i measured the ones I needed with a micrometer and i was measuring a .01-.02mm variation from the printed shim size (whereas my stock shims were right on the money to the .000). That is not altogether bad as you rarely need two of the exact same shim. With a micrometer you can swap shims and get your clearances all on the money and even. If you were smart you can measure your clearance and just order the size you need, but if you dont want to wait around for that, then definitely buy this set ahead of time

> 3 dayHas all the listed shims with a foam cover over the top so they dont get mixed up when transported. Also the shims stick to the bottom of the container so they dont bounce around. Covered everything I needed and are very handy to have around if you have 4 strokes.

> 3 dayI used these shims to do a valve job on my DOHC 2010 Kawsaki Ninja 250R. Worked great! No problems to report and as always Amazon and its affiliate shipped lightning fast. All my valves are happy now! Thanks guys. The shims seemed all to be within the sizes printed on the shims themselves. The kit was high quality and consisted of two parts bins full of shims. Great start for my home valve tuning needs. Recommend to those ninja 250 fans as was recommended to me.

> 3 daySizing and quantity are good, but at least half of these show varying levels of corrosion. Im not going to pay 70 bucks for a new item, and then have to clean and fix the product. Will be returning and buying another brand as this is either poor storage methods or quality control and shouldnt be necessary. I have used other brands, and this hasnt been nearly as big an issue. Maybe 1, 2 out of a set, but not half the product. It seems overly common with this brand, and I wont be using them again after this experience. The size markings are also very faint, but this isnt really an issue to the functionality.
