What I like is you are getting 3 of ever size, now there is another set for $32 but you get only 1 shim, I figure but this set because if you run into having two that are the same size needed your not going to have it in the other deal, you will pay about $5 and up for another shim, plus wait time, this is a no Brainer, just like any tool, yiu might not use it all the time but when you need it it there, just go for buying this one, it will pay off dkwn tbe road and its made very well, good luck.

Did my first valve adjustment with these. They fit my 2006 Yamaha YZF-R6r @ 25,000 miles great. I measured about 20 of the shims with calipers and they were all spot on. High quality, have put several thousand miles on the bike and it runs better than ever.

the shims look like they are of low quality. Many of them were coloured as though they were beginning to rust. I also do not understand why they need to supply three of every shim. It sure would be better to either supply less shims so the over all price would be cheaper or supply the same number of shims but supply more sizes so you have a better selection.

Kit had all the shims I needed to shim the valves in my 2006 Yamaha FZ1. Have put several thousand miles on it since I shimmed the valves and its definitely running smoother/stronger. The shims are all labeled by laser printing which helps a ton, and I measured quite a few of them to be sure they were accurate, and they are.

Ill never order from any other shim company. Exact measurements and my bike runs great now. Definitely recomend to others. Even come with a mini magnafying glass for people with troubled vision!

worked as they should. measurements could have bein a little more clear but not bad. you get a magnifying glass to look at them.

Bought this kit for my 1998 ZX9R. Every shim in the kit is etched .05mm larger than what it actually is. The shims are still good, just double check the thickness before use. If you do not plan on adjusting a lot of valves, hot shims sales refill packs if you know what it is needed. The part numbers look like this - 5PK748290 (5PK is the quantity, 748 is the diameter, and 290 is the thickness). If you have a different diameter or need a different thickness, substitute those numbers in place of the ones mentioned. Refill kits can be found for around $6.

Great kit with a ton of different shim sizes that are all clearly labeled & are exactly to spec, but there were a few sizes in my kit that were rusty/corroded. Luckily the ones I needed were fine, but still something I would rather not see at all in a part like this.

Wide range of shims that covered all I needed for my valve adjustment. The snap lock tab is nice to keep the case from opening accidentally.. Was able to easily swap shims and get the clearance dialed in pretty evenly. Bike is running great!
