20-04-2025Same station that came with the index. Plugged in and conected to the system automatically. The only difference is the power cord which is slightly shorter and a different shape on the plug. No mounting hardware and $50 more than if you got from valve directly... But they are sold out at the time of writing. A good mount is only $10-20 so if you need one now, this is worth it.

> 3 dayIt took me forever to discover that theres a tiny button on the back that changes the channel 1 through 20. Depending on your setup that may be the only way to change it to prevent conflicts.

> 3 dayIts amazing the cable I received with it was around 16feet long it just doesnt come with a mounting kit so I would get one as well again overpriced but worth it as long as you can afford it!

> 3 dayI am not sure they are worth $200 each but they work with my Pimax 8KX. No issues, plug and play.

> 3 dayLike other reviews have stated there is no mount. You will have to buy a stand or mount separate. The cord is also a lot shorter (maybe about 5 feet) than the one that came with my Steam VR set. So plan accordingly. It is steamVR compatible. If this is your 3rd+ base station when you first start steamVR you may get notified that you need to change the channels on the base stations. The steamVR popup window will guide you through this process. If they add the mount and increase the length of the cord. I will raise it to 5 stars. This base station is $50 more than it is on the steam store (but at least it is available). edit: I had a mechanical failure under a year. HOWEVER vive replaced it for free and even has a recycling program for the old broken one. Because of this I am raising it to 5 stars for the time being (I will lower it back to 4 if this one dies under a year as well).

> 3 dayIt was easy to set up and install. Once you plug it in and turn on SteamVR it takes care of the setup on its own with only a single button press. You dont even need to reconfigure your playspace, it just integrates itself right in. It does not come with a mounting bracket, so make sure you pick one up when you buy this.

> 3 dayIm disappointed with this product. The cord is far shorter than the one that Valve sells, but this one costs over fifty dollars more. I would recommend waiting for a valve restock to get base stations instead of buying this from HTC.
