> 3 dayOne of my valve index base stations stopped working. I bought this to replace it, worked fine.

> 3 dayThese are identical to the ones sold by Valve (it even says Valve on the back still), but these are $50 more expensive and comes with a shorter, bulkier, and sideways oriented power supply compared to the ones sold on Steam by Valve. Not only that, but there is no wall mount included either. They charge you more for far inferior hardware or lack thereof and this has always been HTC’s MO. I was ok with paying $50 more because I needed the extra Base Station and I was already aware of the shorter power adapter, but I expected at least a wall mount in the box! If Steam wasn’t currently sold out of Base Stations I wouldn’t have even considered this. I will be keeping an eye on Steam’s stock and returning this if I can get my hands on a Valve Base Station. Do not buy this if you’re not in a rush for another Base Station. Period.

> 3 dayThe unit functions fine. The price is hefty by about 15% above the vomprtiyy tu ion but the competition had none in-stock

> 3 dayNot much to say about this except it does what its suppose to do. If you want full body immersion you need these and vive trackers. I suggest 4 base stations with a large play space and 2 if your play space is small.

> 3 dayIt took me forever to discover that theres a tiny button on the back that changes the channel 1 through 20. Depending on your setup that may be the only way to change it to prevent conflicts.

> 3 dayWas a great upgrade from the 1.0 stations! Has helped tremendously with fully body 360 tracking.

> 3 dayAfter 5 days of using this one base station for VRChat because full-body tracking is the best, the base station started flashing red which indicated hardware failure. It was essentially bricked for those who dont know about the possibility of the rotor just straight up failing. Granted, it did work but not for long. If you want the same base station at a lower cost, just get it off Steam when they restock. They are good at replacing broken base stations unlike HTC with their nightmarish customer support and it comes with mounts and a better power brick. If theyre out of stock, just order a 1.0 since the only difference is a wider area coverage for bigger rooms when it comes to the 2.0.
