> 3 dayIf you only use distilled water in your device it’s less likely to cause a significant amount of buildup. I never had much residue in my humidifier (because I only use distilled). I bought this (expensive item) because I thought I needed it, but I don’t trust it honestly. After I tried this item, it felt okay while running but when it was done there was residue left behind that was hard to remove with my kind of humidifier. If distilled water (alone) sits for a few hours (enclosed) the water will be fine for a good amount of time (few hours or so). But if you do the same with this product in the water, it seems to produce more of this residue. I ran my humidifier after the treated water was sitting in the humidifier for a little bit (a few hours) and both myself and baby started coughing and sneezing. That was enough for me. I think I was better off without it. The humidifier was also easier to clean before I tried this. You might not need it

> 3 dayThese drops are extremely easy to use. The directions are not only listed on the outer bag but also on the bottle itself and so far works effectively in my humidifier. Love that the humidifier drops continuously cleans and deodorizes the water and storage water tank in between cleanings. While I can’t comment on a definitive scent (as I don’t smell one) that’s perfectly fine with me because I prefer to not have that in my humidifier. Highly recommend and will continue to buy in the future.

09-06-2025We have an automatic humidifier running constantly in my daughter’s room due to her respiratory issues (and living in a dry climate); we had the pink slimy mildew buildup on her previous humidifier despite regular cleaning, so we started using these drops when we upgraded, and we’ve had zero mildew issues using these drops + distilled water for over 3 months.

Greater than one weekI have a new small humidifier. It’s an issue to always keep humidifiers clean. I use these drops when I refill my humidifier and it’s as clean as can be there is no smell and it’s a good feeling to know that it helps the water clean. I will continue to use this product for any additional humidifiers that I purchased. It lasts a long time and it’s very economical.

> 3 dayI really like this product. It’s the first I’ve ever used in a cool mist humidifier with city tap water (no softener) that does not produce a white dust. If there is any, it’s very little. Oddly if you have anything plastic nearby, it will collect on it. Highly recommend and I will buy it again.

Greater than one weekI was skeptical at first but I decided to try them to know for sure. I was getting film buildup in my office humidifier every 2-3 days. After using just 3-4 drops at each tank full up, I haven’t gotten any film build up since. The value is awesome too since the drops coming out of the bottle are small. So a full bottle should last a while (the manufacturer states 100+ days).
