I tried this because the price was cheaper but I dont think its working very well I have to clean my humidifier out every day

I wanted to give this product 5 stars but I am simply not sure if it is working fully. Personally, I still get slime in all of my humidifiers, so it is not preventing slime buildup. I still have to clean them every week or so. However, the slime has gone from an orange color to a yellow/golden hue after adding this product. So I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt that the solution is neutralizing the bacteria getting into the air. Also, their statement this one ounce bottle of humidifier demineralization solution will last about 100 days is a bit misleading. You need to add 6 drops per gallon. I have 3 humidifiers totalling 5 1/2 gallons that I run 24/7. I have to refill them 2-3 a week. I follow the instructions on amount to add and I am on my second bottle in 2 months. But as I said, it seems to be neutralizing the bacteria due to the color change, and Im more concerned about it not getting in the air than cleaning it. I may increase the amount to see if it gets rid of the slime altogether. But if it does, it means I will go through it even faster. Overall, I give this 4 stars (more like 3.5). Shipping was effortless and quick.

I love my cool humidifier, but I was having a terrible time keeping it clean. I would develop algae and pink slime in a short amount of time, and it is very hard to reach around inside to scrub. I was about to through it away and order a new one , but couldnt find a good replacement, so I decided to try this. When I received my humidifier drops, I used a bent long bottle brush and scrubbed it clean with white vinegar, rinsed it well, and filled with tap water, adding the required amount of drops for its size. I am so happy with these! They have kept my humidifier crystal clean since I started using them 2.5 months ago. They have no scent at all.

We have an automatic humidifier running constantly in my daughter’s room due to her respiratory issues (and living in a dry climate); we had the pink slimy mildew buildup on her previous humidifier despite regular cleaning, so we started using these drops when we upgraded, and we’ve had zero mildew issues using these drops + distilled water for over 3 months.

Been using the drops for a lil over a week now, and so far so good. Used to get pink mold after a few days. So far great product!

This product seems to be keeping the white scale under control. I ordered it one day and it was at my door the next. I’m happy with it and am also glad it can be at my door within a day or 2.

My cool air humidifier kept getting a red film to it, no matter how good it was cleaned. My husband and I were a little skeptical about using the drops. I am glad I bought the drops because they work great. My humidifier doesnt get the red film and its easier to clean. I recommend this to everyone who has a humidifier.

I have had my humidifier going pretty much 24/7 since it arrived and have made sure these were in every tank. They are great! And I believe they will last awhile making them worth every penny.
