> 24 hourMy last Hyper X headset had finally started to go after years and decided to go with them again since the cloud was extremely comfortable and had pretty decent sound quality. I saw these were on sale and had surround sound built in so I went for it and needless to say, I am extremely disappointed. The surround sound is a nice touch and the mic quality seems good, solid build all around but why is the headset not adjustable? This leads to someone with an average to smaller head having to deal with the headphones constantly sagging down leading to discomfort over even a short period. Pretty shocking for something that normally costs $150.

> 24 hourThe HyperX Cloud Revolver 7.1 is a super solid wired headset. The build quality is nice and strong with a lose feel to it so it can be used for long periods of time without fatiguing the user. The mic quality is also surprisingly good. It reminds me of the Cloud Alpha S boom mic. This device is just plug in play as well. Just connect the headphone cable to the media control box then plug the USB port into your pc, turn on 7.1, and you’re all set! The sound profile is also different than what I’m used to, this particular headset appears to lack that punchy bass a lot of headsets have which I thought would be bad when I first tried them on as I listened to music, however when I then tried them in multiple FPS titles, I realized that this actually helped me pinpoint enemies much better. Since I didn’t have gunfire and explosions covering up everything else I had the advantage in a lot of my gunfights as I was able to catch enemies off guard! Other than that the sound is nice, loud and clear. It’s very pleasing to listen to and immersive while gaming. If you’ve used any of the other hyperx headsets, specifically the 7.1 ones, you’ll feel right at home! Everything is nice and comfortable while giving me the edge I need to play my best! I can easily recommend this headset!

> 24 hourThese are some pretty darn good headphones that suffer the fate that many others do: They start to get a little uncomfortable after a few hours of use. Music sounds good and games sound even better. Especially when compared to my old cheap pair. These may not be perfect, but they are easy to use and the weight is the only thing youll hear me complain about. Well, that and maybe the mic. Im not the biggest fan of this style of mic. Im going to give these to my son for his e-sports competitions. The surround is good enough to be of huge help to him. The price is a bit on the steep end, but I think the quality of these makes it worth it. The other big plus is that these are corded! If you want to participate in e-sports, its best to have wired connections to avoid issues when near other people. If there are tons of wireless devices, it can cause interference with the signal. No problem with that on these. Just make sure you dont try to step away with them still attached to your head! Its liable to yank you back onto the floor. Id get these again in a heartbeat.

> 24 hourThe revolver headphones by Hyperx offer a amazing gaming experience. I really like the clear sounding bass and audio that the headphones have to offer. When playing games that have light audio queues, the headphones are great at picking up the slightest sounds. The 1.7 surround sound makes gaming more lifelike and enjoyable to play. I would recommend these headphones to anyone who wants some top of the line gaming headphones.

> 24 hourIn terms of sound quality, these are the best gaming headphones I have tried. In games, the 7.1 audio is immediately noticeable and all sounds are crisp so I can make out what they are and where they came from. The earcups do a great job at keeping any sound from leaking in our out. When listening to music both the background music and vocals are clear and the headphones are great at canceling any noise around me. In my mind, they shine the brightest when watching action movies, each explosion has an extra punch and along with the great fit immerses you in what youre watching. Putting these on for a late-night movie is an experience you have to try if you decide to buy them. Where I have problems is with the comfort of the headphones. The moving headband design is nice because it takes the pressure off the top of your head, but that pressure has to go somewhere to keep the headphones on your head and so they go to the ear cups. As someone with glasses, within 30 minutes of putting these headphones on, I start to feel slight discomfort right where my glasses rest, and within an hour its a fairly noticeable discomfort. I have to take them off for a bit to almost rest my ears which can really break my immersion in a game or movie. My second smaller problem is the microphone, it sounds fine however it picks up breathing so easily and positioning it in a way where it doesnt pick up breathing instead just makes you sound really quiet. My older HyperX headphones came with a little foam windscreen and it was a great addition, I wish they did the same for these. Overall, they are nice headphones that I will continue using despite the problems however if you are someone with glasses who wears headphones for hours on end be warned that these are not very comfortable.

> 24 hourThese headphones are like little pillows on my ears. The sound is pretty good. It does sound a little muffled when other players are trying to talk to me. The mic is at a weird angle. I find myself fighting with the mic when I’m looking down at my screen on the switch. Overall, I am very pleased with it though. The surround sound is clear. It makes my gaming experience a lot more intense. I would recommend this product to others.
