LOVE! My two year old is too tall for his own good and he can unlock the deadbolt. This product makes it to wear he cannot open the door without assistance. If you have paint that peels easily, dont use this. The sticky on the back will take the paint off, and the product and your paint job will be ruined. However, aside from that, it works exactly as advertised.

Our cat Winston is an escape artist; we have a brace that keeps him in his room at night or when we travel that works from the outside of his door. BUT now he has learned he can open all our lever doors including the door to our bedroom. We are mildly cat allergic (the cat was inherited) and we cope by keeping him out of our bed and bedroom. He goes where he wants to go. This device has worked perfectly so far. He has used all four paws to try to defeat it, but it is opposable thumbs 1/ cat paws 0 thus far. Highly recommended to keep cats out.

We use this now that our grandson is walking and loves to open doors. Its a great feeling knowing your door is secure, and it is very sturdy.

The adhesive was not strong enough but a roll of gorilla tape seemed to do the trick! Smart animals can be escape artists.
