> 3 dayOrdered 7 rolls of Imus to protect our deck frame, because the wider 3 1/8 wasnt available through Amazon we purchased a roll of Trex Protect Beam Butyl Tape 3 1/8 as well. As far as I can tell the two products are exactly the same, right down to the pattern of packaging - the cellophane tape used to secure the roll has the same taping pattern and cut marks. The Imus is less expensive also! As far as the actual material goes, its very confidence inspiring - heavy, durable and the adhesive is AMAZINGLY sticky. In fact if youre used to Grace Vycor, you are in for a surprise...we were not expecting just how aggressive the adhesive is. Excellent and well worth the cost, we spent about $200 on our deck.

> 3 dayVery easy to apply. Sticks well and until you press it firmly in place you can usually reposition it. I dont have any concerns with the tape and recently bought 2 more rolls for the next phase of my deck. After 3 months in the Texas heat, the tape is holding up well.... of course its way too early to rate the durability.

> 3 dayGood tape, very sticky.. Ill see how well it holds up over the life of this new deck. My advice is to not put it on when its above 90 outside cause the backing is harder to control due to the heat.

> 3 dayUsed the tape on an existing outdoor deck that I was replacing the boards on . As long as the joists are dry the tape sticks well , if they are wet doesnt stick well . I installed a few weeks ago so no idea on longevity but it looks like it should last a long time .

> 3 dayIt meet and exceeds all expectations, only issue all the rolls seemed run short measured several times to make sure I had enough for joist on my deck and was still about 4 feet short

> 3 dayThe idea is nice, however it is better and cheaper actually to go with silicone or rubber paint, you can paint all the joints including the top (for example this https://www.amazon.com/Liquid-Rubber-Roof-Coating-Sealant/dp/B01EM9GAA8/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=silicone%2Broof%2Bpaint&qid=1634698430&sr=8-5&th=1) for this price. I used them so cannot return

> 3 dayThe tape sticks pretty well. Be sure your surface is totally free of debris, coatings that will not allow it to adhere or it wont. It is adequately thick so it will be pretty durable. It is wide enough to comfortably cover a 2x. I just applied it to my project so now Ill wait and see if it endures.
