First of all, I purchased this wire to replace both my old speaker wire from 2002. Oh what a difference. The wire was thicker than my old one (12 gauge). The thickness may be the biggest strength for me right now because now, I can pump over a 100 w without the brittle distortion that I heard on my last cable.

This speaker wire is great for the price. It sounds great as well

The plastic casing is really tough, making it rather difficult to splice and strip. Took me almost an hour to get all the cables sorted using a box cutter, a wire cutter, and a wire stripper.

I did not think it would make much difference, but I was wrong. The sound is much cleaner than my old 12 gauge wire. Its a quality product and great value for the money.

I needed to move my speakers and had to have the same heavy gauge with my great speakers as I had used previously. Couldnt find anything locally but thin gauge wire. Bought this on Amazon, came fast and worked great!

So Im an electrical engineer. People saying this isnt 12 gauge: youre wrong. It fits exactly through the 12 gauge hole on my autostrippers. You know its a good fit when it nearly cuts a couple of strands as its stripping unless its straight on. I didnt have problem splitting the + and - wires either. Small cut with an xacto knife to get it started and it pulls apart fine. I had to assemble 16 banana plugs with solder and didnt have any issues. The insulation held up really well and didnt melt down.

Ran 35’ to back surrounds. 12 gauge allowed for more. Speakers sound fine, flexible and easy to maneuver. Great price for the amount of wire. Would buy again and again.
