Wire has gotten so expensive, especially good wire. The cheap stuff is just copper-coated aluminum. This is good looking wire. Feels good and I think the sound has improved. The wire I had before this was a very cheap 20 gauge wire for my speakers. Maybe it is my imagination. Maybe it is the placebo effect. Either way, it seems to be a very good wire for the money. If I need more I will look for this again.

Copper is malleable but the rubber shielding is extremely soft and melts very easily when soldering.
