Box works but displays some crosstalk from the opposite channel. Im using HDMI to VGA converters into the box, then VGA to the monitor. I have not contacted IOGEAR. You can see light horizontal ghost scrolling right to left from the image on the opposite channel in black areas such and an empty terminal session or an app just coming up.

Simple and effective. I use this solely for USB switching with a wireless HP keyboard and wireless Logitech mouse. It switches super fast and it only uses a single USB connector on each machine.

I have had this device for several months and it has performed well. With its one button, anyone can use this device. The setup was very simple, assuming you can hook and unhook cables from a computer without getting confused. Great product that replaced a fancier, more complex device I had that failed.

This device allowed me to seamlessly integrate a work issued computer into my home computer setup. I was able to share my keyboard, monitor, and mouse between both computers. Switching between computer systems is as easy as pressing one button. You can switch between computers rapidly. The construction of the device is quite good. Cables are sturdy and thick. My only wish is that it had a DVI port instead of a VGA port so I could take advantage of the digital input on my monitor on both computers...

While transitioning people from old to new computers, Im deploying these by the handful lately so people can still have access to their old system for a while, and still give them their new system to get started on. Sure I do the bulk of the work copying user profiles and such, but there are just those couple of old things that still have the old one alive for while longer . . .

Switch arrived very quickly and setup was easy and fast. No issues so far.

I have had the 2-port compact USB KVM swtich for about a month and it works great between the two computers I manage at work. Now Im able to control both computers with just a keyboard, mouse and monitor.

First boot up when connected to my desktop and laptop per the instructions the desktop crashed with a blue screen, and keyboard and mouse were non-operational on my laptop. Both running Windows 7. Second attempt nothing crashed but still could not get keyboard and mouse to function with my laptop. Checked their support page and documentation to confirm that I had followed proper procedure. Dont have the time to mess around with something that should be plug and play. Will be requesting a refund.
