Very nice for any reptile. I would recommend getting something to monitor the temperature of the heat pad. Very easy to over heat.

It’s only warm up a small area of the my 10 g tank but I got what I pay for. It’s a small pat that’s do works but it’s not enough for the whole 10 g tank.

After using for a few days, I noticed that it doesnt stay on. It periodically turns off on its own. Itll only start working again if I unplug it and plug it back in.

Doesn’t appear to actually work unless I’m missing something. Plugged in around 8:30pm and went down to check at 6:30am and the tank was only 60°. I felt the bottom of the tank and it was lukewarm. Not impressed.

The heat mat was easy to install and easy to use, but it gets VERY hot. I am glad I bought a temperature regulator to go along with it because if I hadnt my poor snake could have had his belly roasted off! I let it run without the regular jus to get it heated up and it was reading 120 degrees by the time I switched it back off. If you purchase this mat, make sure you get a regular to go with it!

Easy to install. Plug it in, it heats up. Snake is happy again to have his warm corner.

Was gonna use this for my hermit crabs but the first thing I saw was a warning label that states the heat pad contains dangerous chemicals that are known that cause cancer and to wash your hands after touching it. WHY would I use that for my pets??? I also have a bird and other animals and I’m not risking their lives over this product. Submitted a return request as soon as I read it.

I used this to make a proofing box. A cup of warm water in the box improves performance

Suppose to come with small plastic legs for beneath the tank position, those were missing. I needed it for the back anyway. I bought the 6x4, 4 watt first for my 10 gallon Hermit crab tank. Did nothing attached to the back. I have had this one on the back for 4 hours, the 8 watt. The tank is running about 10 degrees warmer than the house temp of 72. So far so good.

The temp of the tank didn’t change at all after adding this I already had a smaller one so figured this would work good but temp was at 90 before and stays at 90 after I put it on the side. You can feel the heat coming from it which might help but the temp stays the same
