> 3 daySuppose to come with small plastic legs for beneath the tank position, those were missing. I needed it for the back anyway. I bought the 6x4, 4 watt first for my 10 gallon Hermit crab tank. Did nothing attached to the back. I have had this one on the back for 4 hours, the 8 watt. The tank is running about 10 degrees warmer than the house temp of 72. So far so good.

> 3 dayI am not pleased with this product. After less than a month, the glue has failed. Now I have to return the item so I can get a refund and go out and buy a better product. 100% better to get a reliable, if higher priced, item than to have to go through all of this hassle.

> 3 dayDont buy. A waste of $$. This product doesnt stick. Ive had for only two months Not expecting to find this but when I decided to change the substrate in my reptile cage, I found the heating mat had separated from tank. Now I have tried to get it to stick, but after hours, a day (because Im not sitting to watch WHEN it separates) I find it has separated again and is instead sitting on top of stand instead of adhered to tank. Very disappointing. And of course too late to exchange or preferably get a refund. So move on to find a product that works dont stop looking with this product. Waste of $$.

> 3 dayI wouldn’t recommend the 4 watt (1-5gal) for a 5 gallon tank as it only raised the temperature by 4 degrees from 64 to 68. I used it on the backside of the tank for hermit crabs. Returned it and went to pet smart and spent the extra money to get an 8 watt (10-20gal) heater.

> 3 dayCheaper version of name brand heat pads that works just as well! I will never buy the name bramd ones while there are products just as good for less.
