> 24 hourLove my dogs, but not their shedding. I have been wanting to try this product for a long time and finally did it. It is great at keeping my floors free of dog hair as well as dust and dirt. Highly recommended!

> 24 hourI tried 5 different rooms and countless furniture configurations. The only conclusion I can come to is the vacuum is now obsessed with figuring out how to get stuck. It seems once it learns how to get stuck it will go to that location over and over. I’ll watch it pound over and over to wedge itself under a chair. It will bump into obstacle, turn to wide open floor, stop, and turn back to the obstacle then proceed to bang at it for several minutes. Do you have table and chairs? Thats it’s favorite place to get stuck. It will move chairs to lock itself in. Quite impressive. My last hope was a room that has a 2 step drop to another room. The first time it handled “the Cliff” really well, couple of quick tests and moved on. Second time, directly to the cliff, stuck, third same, 4th same. I’m done. Waste of money.

> 24 hourBut I don’t think it was worth the cost. It did Pick up dirt but the compartment for dirt was to small and there was no self clean.

> 24 hourI wanted a robot vacuum forever before I purchased this one on a Prime Day deal. Everyone raves about them. So far I feel like it is a waist of money and not worth the hype. The longer I have it the more I am certain that when it dies, I will not replace it with another… I chose this one based on the sale, the fact that it doesn’t require the ap to operate and that it will sense a staircase and turn around. I didn’t want a useless piece of junk once the app became outdated, or a pile of pieces after it cartwheeled down them. At its current rate- I doubt it will work long enough for that to be an issue. Overrated and not worth the hype. Pros: Easy to use without the ap. Does great at sensing a staircase… Not once has it fallen down mine…. Both were features I specifically wanted in a robot vacuum. I can run it while doing other tasks and have a cleaner home when I am done. Cons: It WILL error out and get lost in your house. It is loud. VERY loud. Gets the home “cleaner but not clean. It misses A LOT… Something about its programming sends it to the same areas over and over and over while it misses about 50% of the house. It does great at cleaning the edges and under furniture but fails to get the middle of the room clean. Not once has it ever gotten the middle of the room entirely clean. Not once. It runs for hours doing what I could do in about 20 min - but then I have to spend about 15 min cleaning up what it misses so I am not convinced it is really a “time saver” for me. It is NOT consistent. I have hardwood floors with a large area rug. One day it will clean stripes through the rug - the next it can’t “climb” the rug and will turn around at the edge. Some days it will go across it - other days it gets to middle and turns around. This is a very low profile rug. Some days it can’t climb the run but has zero problems trying to climb the baseboards or the wood base to the floor lamp. Both of which are MUCH thicker than the rug. Some days it will dock itself - others it will run until the battery dies. Some days it will clean the kitchen floor - other days it misses the kitchen entirely. Some days it will clean the entry way 5 times - other days not at all. Not once has it gotten the center of the living room clean. Not once. It does leave clean stripes through it though. Between crumbs from kids, fur from pets and my dusty climate - the floor gets dusty looking quickly. Some days it will clean all the edges of the room - another it might miss one wall entirely. The app: So far the only use I have found for it, is to turn the thing off when the pets sit on it an turn it on. You can turn it on/off with the app - You can also schedule cleaning it with it is too loud to run at night (seriously I can hear this thing running even if I am outside my home doing yard work). I’ve tried to run it while we are not home - but each time I try that it gets lost somewhere with a dead battery and I have to go searching for it. Often I find it under furniture or in a corner “stuck”. Some days it can clean under chairs just fine - others it gets “trapped” under them and can’t get out. The version this vacuum uses DOES NOT map your home or let you set areas to clean. The app and the robot struggle to talk to each other and often have to be restarted. It is easier IMO just to reach down and hit the button. The app does track the number of times you use the vacuum even when not started with the app. It is a bit rough on the legs of wood furniture. Many of the legs of my chairs are starting to show missing finish and bare wood where they constantly get bumped by the vacuum. According to the app - I have used this 47 times. I dont feel like that is very many times for furniture to start looking dinged up. I don’t hate it bad enough to resell or return it -but to do it again - I wouldn’t purchase it.

> 24 hourI brought this robot as a gift for my mother and the two main reasons I purchase this product was 1) my mother is not tech Savvy so I was very happy that this did not require WIFI to operate and 2) that it came with a remote control (So I thought). unfortunately, when she opened the package I come to find out there was no remote control (disappointed in myself since after reviewing the product description I realized that I may have made a mistake in thinking that it came with a remote control, again this was an oversight on my part that may have happened while was doing research on the difference robot vacuums that would best fit for my mother). Stating this we decided to give it try since on of the main points was NO WIFI NEEDED. in the box was the charging dock, charging cord, one brush, owners manual and of course the robot itself. it recommended to charge for 1hr before use to which we did or at least tried to but the minute we put it in the docking station five minute later the light that said it was suppose to be charging turned off we tried again by lifting and resetting on the dock but again after five minute it turned off (so assuming that it was already fully charged)pressed the clean button and it stated right up. one thing we noticed was the suction power was chefs kiss I mean I could feel the blower from across the room. Another thing we noticed was that it was compact enough to fit under our dining room table legs (odd shape table that had three pieces set together on both legs in a triangle shape, best way I can think to described it -_- sorry) anyway even with its small size it picks ups a lot dust/filth. Stating all this one of the main issues we had with it was the tendency to get stuck/tangled on either loose or frayed carpet and if you dont keep an eye on it will destroy the carpet as once the ends get wound in the brush it will continue to pull and may very well end up destroying your rug carpet. Another small issue or maybe a quirk was once it got to the wall molding it seems to be trying to climb up on it but again it maybe how it was design to be able to get to all the nooks an crannies (again it was just odd but I thought I would mention it anyway). Last thing I wanted to say about this product was the fact that I was very simple and easy to clean, the parts (Both brushes, rubber winder, dust collection pod) came out smooth and with no hassle and can be put back in fairly easy. So because of this I would say its a fairly good product (as long as you dont run it on frayed carpets, long loose hair, and anything that can get tangled within the brush) price wise it was a good deal since I got it during the holiday season ($175). Durability seems pretty standard as long a you keep up with the maintenance of cleaning it out after every use since its not self cleaning (we have used it about 5 times now since getting it and suction is still strong hopeful it stays that way). would recommend but still bummed out that it didnt come with a remote and even after 4 uses it refuses to charge for more that five minute (charging light goes out -_- maybe its suppose to be that way since we are not using it through WIFI) still working through that issue (want to give it a real chance before making a decision on whether or not to send it back). hope this helps anyone reading this make a decision on whether or not you get this product for your family/household.

> 24 hourAs you can see from the pictures I have iRobots literally littering my house. When they work they are decent. When they dont you may as well toss them. Support is nearly non-existent. They put you through what I like to refer to as a support beatdown where they wear you down over the course of days at hours a time up to a point you dont care if it works or not. My wife and I are both Technical Architects each with 20-plus years in IT. I think we know how to add a device to wifi. When we tell them we have 4 different networks we have tried and have reset the vacuum 20 plus times and it wont connect and it has been connected how can it be a problem with our very well thought out and deployed system which has access points in every room, non-hybrid, but actually an access point for each band on separate VLANs with distinct SSIDs. Foolishness. Then when you get done with a 2 hour support call where they confirm everything you already told them then they ghost you for a week or more with no calls, emails or inkling that they even care about you as a customer. Did I mention I also have the mop? The lid broke on that in a week and wont latch down, so I have duct tape holding that together. Looks sweet for the 300 bucks I dropped. You think when you have a track record of investing thousands of dollars in a companys products they would have a minimal care in the world. Trust me iRobot does not care about its customers. They clain to have all the highest end cool features like the app quality and obstacle avoidance but does any of that make the least bit of difference if the machine wont add to the app you use to control it by? I bought a OKP vacuum on Amazon here since iRobot wont support their products for about 100 dollars and the thing was set up and working in 5 minutes and hasnt skipped a beat. Save yourself a complete nightmare and buy something that either works and doesnt require support or has support that actually cares.

> 24 hourI purchased this iRobot during the 2020 Black Friday sale to use at my photography studio. It did a decent job on LVP and the rooms that were carpeted. However, it often got tangled in my area rugs (decorative rugs like fax zebra, faux cow, etc....), all rugs with very low or no pile and not very thick. It also would get stuck on a cliff and when I found it, it was sitting at the edge of a low-pile area rug, not tangled or anything. It just detected the edge of the rug and thought it was a step down. So the cliff sensors seemed overly sensitive. I ended up having to use a regular vacuum because the iRobot was too unreliable. First world problems but it meant I was spending more time cleaning than I was on more important tasks. When we moved states, I brought it home to use in our bedroom because we keep that door closed when we are not in there (to keep the pets out as they are not allowed unsupervised in any of the bedrooms). It gets stuck on the carpet in there and does not do a good job of picking up pet hair. Ive given up on it. Im going to toss it out or sell it at the next neighborhood yard sale. We have a self-emptying Shark for our house that does a phenomenal job. So I guess thats what I will be getting for my studio, too.

> 24 hourWe like to use this for cleanings in-between thorough once a month professional cleanings. You need to keep an eye on it while it is running, because it sometimes gets stuck under a cabinet or on a hefty rug. We move some of our chairs and other furniture before using the Roomba so it can move more freely.

> 24 hourI live alone in a small place: no pets, no kids. What I do have is hair. It is very thick, it sheds constantly and is currently bright orange. I also hate vacuuming. This little buddy does exactly what I need, which is go back and forth across my flat painstakingly picking up all my hair. Unfortunately he doesnt have room mapping and there are some cubbies I need to clean myself (behind the toilet! Under my bedside table!) because it cant fit but Im fine with spot cleaning and supervising it to make sure it makes it into the bathroom and out again. I didnt want to get a more expensive model as this is my first robot vacuum and I wasnt sure if I was a fan but when this guy goes to the great messy room in the sky, Im definitely investing in another, smarter, version.

> 24 hourHad I written a review when I first purchased the item it would have been 5 starts! We were really excited to get this unit after doing a lot of research before purchasing the iRobot as there are a number of options available. We are a 2 person family with no children, no pets and no carpets, we have hardwood floors throughout our home. We keep all our home appliances well maintained and took great care with this unit, even purchasing replacement brushes and rollers and filters to make sure that we had them on hand when they needed to be replaced. We purchased the iRobot in July of 2022 and less than a year later, in April, had to replace the side bush module as it stopped working and the brush wouldnt spin and kept falling off. Then in May, we had to replace the main roller module as the iRobot would start its cycle and then stop completely. Honestly this is not something we expected with the iRobot. And now we are having difficulty charging, even after it returns to its base. We have cleaned the sensors on the docking station and on the unit and we keep hearing Charge iRobot even when it is on its base - that voice will drive you crazy! We have to keep moving the iRobot about until a connection is made and it starts charging. We are basically rebuilding the entire unit and its not even a year old! Obviously, were on our own when the warranty is up in July of this year!!!
