So I have a yellow lab whose job it is to deposit many dogs worth of hair around the house. With hardwood floors, after a day it doesnt look like I ever vacuum. This is a nice sub $200 solution. For less than I pay my cleaning lady, my floors stay nice looking all week. The added benefit is that it helps force me to take the extra 2 minutes prior to leaving the house to get things off the floor. The one downside is having to empty the thing every time when I get home. The debris catcher is always full of dog hair.

I got this on a Prime day deal a few days ago. Loving it so far! This is my first Roomba and I didnt have much expectation from something so small and compact. I was wrong! The setup was easy and it was packaged very well. Simply remove the yellow tab from the batter and place onto its charging dock to being charging. The app was easy to set up as well, and it was connected to my WiFi network in under 2 minutes. The first time you send it off to clean, I recommend following it around to see the types of things that it may get stuck on. Try to pick up all wires, pet toys and food/water bowls as best you can. Youll learn what needs to be prepped before Roomba cleans. Ive ran it for 3 days in a row now and each time it has brings back a bin full of hair from the cat and dirt. It gets places that Ive never been able to clean before, like under the couch and bed. It has been able to get home every time as well, even from under the couch. Also, many people complained of it being loud however I dont really think it is. For its size and how much suction it has, its actually relatively quiet. Ive been working from home and I let it clean in the morning and dont even notice it at times. Overall I wouldnt have expected the quality and durability of such a small, compact device. I have already cleaned the filter and brushes, which was a breeze. They really make it easy with identifiable tabs underneath it so its simple to pull apart and clean the brushes, which they recommend doing once a week or twice if you have a pet. My only regret is not getting a Roomba sooner in life!

This works great as long as you keep it empty and clean the filters. I have 2 dogs that shed alot and definatley keeps up with all the hair.

I live in a small two bedroom house and run this little guy daily. It does a 5 star vacuum the first time it’s used after replacing the rotor and/or taking 30 minutes to clean the parts. After one or two vacuums (1400 sq feet), the performance is noticeably worse.

  • Muy buena calidad, es pequeña y práctica. El color al ser neutral combina con todo

I had a shark robot vacuum prior to this one that did not clean as well, however it was almost silent. This lil machine is really good at getting grit and dog hair up, however it is just so stinkin’ loud! I cannot have a conversation with anyone while running the vacuum. Overall pretty satisfied with this vacuum as I can walk barefoot around my house without any dog hair on my feet.

The positives: I use it every day. Just turn it on and let it go. One day is downstairs, the next day is upstairs. It senses drop offs so it doesn’t fall down any stairs. It runs for about 90 minutes, gets underneath furniture, zig zags everywhere, is meticulous around corners and grooves it can get into. When it runs downstairs where the base is it docks itself when the battery is dying. After running it several days in a row I have noticed a decrease in the amount of dirt, dust, dog hair and human hair it catches. The negatives: it’s dirt receptacle is very small. Doesn’t hold much and has to be emptied every time. It can’t get into inside corners very well, only outside. There is a fan of some sort that blows as it moves around and it does tend to blow debris around or the little brushes end up throwing the debris off to the side. While it can make it over ledges in the floor, like rugs or wood separating rooms, there are certain rugs it struggles with like bathroom rugs or any rug that has strings hanging around on it as it wants to suck them up. I have not used the remote. Call it laziness on my part. I carry it upstairs on those days and I jus5 lean down and hit the go button when it’s downstairs. Knowing how some of these models are so extremely expensive I am very happy with the performance of this inexpensive model. So what if I have to still vacuum periodically in the corners and the stairs. This is well worth the money!

I brought this robot as a gift for my mother and the two main reasons I purchase this product was 1) my mother is not tech Savvy so I was very happy that this did not require WIFI to operate and 2) that it came with a remote control (So I thought). unfortunately, when she opened the package I come to find out there was no remote control (disappointed in myself since after reviewing the product description I realized that I may have made a mistake in thinking that it came with a remote control, again this was an oversight on my part that may have happened while was doing research on the difference robot vacuums that would best fit for my mother). Stating this we decided to give it try since on of the main points was NO WIFI NEEDED. in the box was the charging dock, charging cord, one brush, owners manual and of course the robot itself. it recommended to charge for 1hr before use to which we did or at least tried to but the minute we put it in the docking station five minute later the light that said it was suppose to be charging turned off we tried again by lifting and resetting on the dock but again after five minute it turned off (so assuming that it was already fully charged)pressed the clean button and it stated right up. one thing we noticed was the suction power was chefs kiss I mean I could feel the blower from across the room. Another thing we noticed was that it was compact enough to fit under our dining room table legs (odd shape table that had three pieces set together on both legs in a triangle shape, best way I can think to described it -_- sorry) anyway even with its small size it picks ups a lot dust/filth. Stating all this one of the main issues we had with it was the tendency to get stuck/tangled on either loose or frayed carpet and if you dont keep an eye on it will destroy the carpet as once the ends get wound in the brush it will continue to pull and may very well end up destroying your rug carpet. Another small issue or maybe a quirk was once it got to the wall molding it seems to be trying to climb up on it but again it maybe how it was design to be able to get to all the nooks an crannies (again it was just odd but I thought I would mention it anyway). Last thing I wanted to say about this product was the fact that I was very simple and easy to clean, the parts (Both brushes, rubber winder, dust collection pod) came out smooth and with no hassle and can be put back in fairly easy. So because of this I would say its a fairly good product (as long as you dont run it on frayed carpets, long loose hair, and anything that can get tangled within the brush) price wise it was a good deal since I got it during the holiday season ($175). Durability seems pretty standard as long a you keep up with the maintenance of cleaning it out after every use since its not self cleaning (we have used it about 5 times now since getting it and suction is still strong hopeful it stays that way). would recommend but still bummed out that it didnt come with a remote and even after 4 uses it refuses to charge for more that five minute (charging light goes out -_- maybe its suppose to be that way since we are not using it through WIFI) still working through that issue (want to give it a real chance before making a decision on whether or not to send it back). hope this helps anyone reading this make a decision on whether or not you get this product for your family/household.

I picked up the 692 because it was suppose to be great with dog hair. I didnt even have a huge job for it: one 400sf room with medium pile carpet where our two Anatolian Shepherds hang out during the day. Right out of the gate, it became clear that this vacuum simply cant handle pet hair on carpet. It didnt pick up all of it, and part of what it did pick up was left in two neat parallel rows behind it. (And as anyone whos had a Roomba problem will tell you, Roombas support is the absolute worst.) Theres just no point in using it for pet hair on carpet, because youll end up vacuuming the next morning anyway. Unable to return it without paying a ridiculous restocking fee (my fault for buying something that wasnt Prime-eligible), I moved it to the hardwood floors in our dining room. It does a decent job there, although I still have to regularly untangle pet hair from the undercarriage. Oh, and about once every four days, its high-tech cliff sensor fails and it gets stuck on the edge of the step down from our dining room. Pros: - Reasonably quiet - Bump-and-go seems to work fairly well (although has become stuck under a chair a couple of times) - Useful app - Decent cleaning on hardwood - Edge brush works well for floor edges on hardwood Cons: - Useless for pet hair on carpet - Cliff sensor doesnt always work - Requires regular manual cleaning of pet hair from undercarriage - Having to manually take the filter out and knock dirt off it when emptying is annoying

I’ve owned a few different brand named robot vacs in the past but this one is by far the best one! First of all, very easy to clean all the brushes and dump out the dust reservoir. I shed a lot of hair and it gets caught in the main brush but when it comes down to cleaning it, the mechanism pops out easy and I can remove all the caught hair. The robot is very efficient and thorough, it is slightly elevated and can sorta “climb” things? Due to this detail, it means it can get stuck in things but also has an advantage of being able to vacuum thicker rugs around your home and climb over doorways that may have a bump. The battery life is also insane! All in all, the Highest Standard for robot vacs. Get it!!!

The Roomba® 600 series robot vacuum is a great way to begin cleaning your home smarter. It learns your cleaning habits and then offers up custom cleaning schedules—taking on daily dirt, dust, and debris from carpets and hard floors. It even has an edge-sweeping brush to get into corners and along edges. Google Assistant and Alexa compatibility let you start a cleaning session with just your voice, or simply use the iRobot Home App. When your area’s pollen count is high or during pet shedding season, the Roomba® 600 series robot vacuum can even suggest extra cleanings —to help keep your floors clean every day of the year.
