> 3 dayI purchased this iRobot during the 2020 Black Friday sale to use at my photography studio. It did a decent job on LVP and the rooms that were carpeted. However, it often got tangled in my area rugs (decorative rugs like fax zebra, faux cow, etc....), all rugs with very low or no pile and not very thick. It also would get stuck on a cliff and when I found it, it was sitting at the edge of a low-pile area rug, not tangled or anything. It just detected the edge of the rug and thought it was a step down. So the cliff sensors seemed overly sensitive. I ended up having to use a regular vacuum because the iRobot was too unreliable. First world problems but it meant I was spending more time cleaning than I was on more important tasks. When we moved states, I brought it home to use in our bedroom because we keep that door closed when we are not in there (to keep the pets out as they are not allowed unsupervised in any of the bedrooms). It gets stuck on the carpet in there and does not do a good job of picking up pet hair. Ive given up on it. Im going to toss it out or sell it at the next neighborhood yard sale. We have a self-emptying Shark for our house that does a phenomenal job. So I guess thats what I will be getting for my studio, too.

Greater than one weekThis thing is a game changer! I run it once every day. I don’t know if I’m ever going to use my vacuum again. The pictures I included is the dirt and dust that it vacuumed from under my dresser and my bed after only 10 minutes. Please note that it’s been a while since it’s been cleaned under there so that is why there so much, but I was shocked at what it picked up! Also included a picture where it was able to get under my dry sink but not between the legs, you can see the spot that it got and the spot that I did not. So it works very well with suction! Two complaints. One is that it’s very loud. Annoying when you’re trying to watch tv or hear someone from another room. Also, when I tell it to go to it’s home, sometimes it takes 2 minutes, sometimes 25 minutes and other times I have to pick it up and charge it because the battery will die and it wont make it home in time. I don’t understand it. It will be circling right near the home and I think it’s going to go home and nope! It turns around and goes in another room. Very annoying!! But overall, I am pleased with its performance.

> 3 dayWe vacuum(Ed) every single day because of dog and cat fur but thanks to Sam (what we named it) we no longer have to! Sam is crest for getting clumps of hair and small crumbs. It lets us have a day off of vacuuming but with that being said it is not a deep clean and does not eliminate the need to use a normal vacuum still. Pros: runs while no one is home, there is an app, charge is enough to get the main parts of the house (1.75-2 hour charge). Cons: no rhyme or reason to the path it takes so some gets missed, no mapping, the app can only start and stop or tell you it’s stuck.

Greater than one weekWe have had a Rooma for the past several years. Finally beat it to death. Used it constantly. We purchased this newer model replaced that one. Very pleased with it. The first think my wife noticed was how much quieter it was. It seems to move more smoothly through the space. We use it on a combination of floors: wood, carpet, and tile. And it seems to me that it recharges more quickly than out previous model. It also had wi-fi capabilities, but we havent really had a reason to use that yet. Highly recommend this product.

> 3 dayWe like to use this for cleanings in-between thorough once a month professional cleanings. You need to keep an eye on it while it is running, because it sometimes gets stuck under a cabinet or on a hefty rug. We move some of our chairs and other furniture before using the Roomba so it can move more freely.

> 3 dayIts programmable so you can set and forget; however, it gets caught on any cable and loose rug. When it doesnt get stuck, it sweeps well and Im glad every time because I hate feeling things when I walk barefoot. We run it once daily in the morning as we wake up because its noisy and crashes on everything before turning, so better to run it when were already awake or out of the house. Its smart enough to avoid falling down the stairs. I bought it like-new on discount. I wouldnt pay full price tho.

> 3 dayI had a shark robot vacuum prior to this one that did not clean as well, however it was almost silent. This lil machine is really good at getting grit and dog hair up, however it is just so stinkin’ loud! I cannot have a conversation with anyone while running the vacuum. Overall pretty satisfied with this vacuum as I can walk barefoot around my house without any dog hair on my feet.

Greater than one weekA bit of context. Ive owned 3 different Neato Robotics models for over 6 years and had a brief flirtation with Eufy RoboVac 11. I stopped buying from Neato because theyre incapable of building one that can take a 5 day per week schedule for more than 2 years before failure. The Eufy seemed like a cheap toy, lacking important features and destined to fail. I returned it after running it twice. The Roomba 692 is every bit as stupid as the Eufy. It uses the same random bounce method of navigation where it staggers about like a drunken sailor bouncing off obstacles and getting stuck in the same places over and over until you physically block access or move the bot. It has no barrier system to prevent it from getting into places it shouldnt. It does no mapping of the room and cant be told not to get lost under the bed indefinitely. It flatly refuses to vacuum our area rugs. The rugs are a light gray on a dark brown floor and they trigger the drop sensors causing the bot to avoid them. If you block off everything but the main living space it will do a halfway decent job. My wife hates the pieces of wood I use to prevent it from going to areas it cant navigate. If the bedroom doors are left open it will invariably run out of battery before it locates the base again. This leads to really annoying games of hide and seek with a dead bot that cant play the find me sound anymore. Where did it get lost this time? Under the sofa? Behind the curtains? Under a dresser? Did it lock itself in the closet again? Hey, Roomba! Its 2021, you dont have to stay in the closet anymore! Ive had it for about a week. Im having a tough time deciding if I should just return it and pay the premium for another bot that can navigate properly or just resign myself to the fact that there are no good vacuum bots to be had for $200 or less. Prime Day saving brought this down to that point. But I really dont want to spend a lot of my time babysitting a hopelessly brain-dead bot.

> 3 dayAfter a few uses its brush got stuck and was moving. My husband has to open and reinstall the brush part. Hopefully, it will work without getting stuck. I liked my old model of Roomba model more than this one.
