I used this product to my undersink water filter. I particularly like the shutoff valve that will make it easier to change the filter cartridge without turning off the main supply.

I bought this product to split the water line under my kitchen sink. The 3/8 line goes to the sink and the 1/4 line goes to a water filter. What all can I say? It works without springing a leak. I only tested the valve a few times when I first installed it. If you are turning it on and off 20+ times a day, it might wear out, but I cant think of any applications which would require you to do so. Use some plumbers tape over the metal threads on the source 3/8 line and the 3/8 output.

I installed this valve as a shut off valve from the 3/8 incoming water supply to the RO system. Right after installing the valve I got very loud water chatter & vibration. The vibration was so bad that I had to remove the valve and reinstall another one just like it. It too caused very loud vibration in the system. Turning on the faucet or the RO caused this issue. One time it started vibrating loudly, in the middle of the night, all on its own with NOTHING turned on! I removed the valve and looked closely at the design. It actually uses a type of cam design to allow the water to run through the device; NOT a straight thru pipe connection. It appears to be quality made, but the water flow design is quite different. I then ordered a Frizzlife brass feed water adapter of the same dimensions with a normal design. The problem then went completely away. Everything is now running smoothly and quiet.

This works well and is a breeze to install. It can rotate around its axis, so once it tightened you can position the new 1/4 valve where you want it to be. No leaks and is functioning well.
