This valve is excellent for the purpose it is meant for,.....adding a take off to your cold water inlet valve to feed a filter system using 1/4 plastic tubing. Nothing magical involved, just screw on to your under counter shutoff valve, and attach your flex hose feeding your main faucet to the other end. Plug in a 1/4 tube into the push fitting and turn the plastic section to where the 1/4 turn shut-off handle is most convenient, and you re done. Probably a bit expensive for the purpose, but if you want simplicity and reliability this is the valve for you if adding an under counter filter system of any type. Personally I feel it is worth it.

My first valve leaked and contacted the seller. They replaced it for free with shipping included and the new valve works perfect and is a 5 min install. I would buy again.

Got this for an under the sink water filter. With this, Ill be able to easily change my filter media with very little mess.

Im a plumber and Im impressed. Both this adapter and the similar one for ⅜ tubing make adding a water filter or icemaker line very easy and have a well made valve so you have the ability to shut off the water out the side. This can be installed in tight spaces because the metal part rotates (as in to install) and the white part rotates 360 degrees as needed. Thats also helpful becaues you can turn it to avoid tangling your ice maker/water filter lines with pull out spouts or spayers.

This worked fine, and the plastic valve rotates around the metal fitting, so you can swivel it around to point where you want it to.

Replacement for the smaller version that ships with Home Master systems. Works perfectly if you need the 1/2” version.

All I can say is OMG I wish I had started with this valve instead of with the metal one that got all corroded and nasty and was so hard to tighten in that small space under my sink!!! Love it - installed VERY quickly and works perfectly, so when I am changing out my water filter stuff, I can easily shut the water supply off.

I rarely write review, but this one is just too good. No leak, installed it within 3 minutes even I am a rookie in water system. Now this thing sit nicely under my sink and I just connect the pipe from RO/DI when I need RO water for my aquarium.
