I installed this valve as a shut off valve from the 3/8 incoming water supply to the RO system. Right after installing the valve I got very loud water chatter & vibration. The vibration was so bad that I had to remove the valve and reinstall another one just like it. It too caused very loud vibration in the system. Turning on the faucet or the RO caused this issue. One time it started vibrating loudly, in the middle of the night, all on its own with NOTHING turned on! I removed the valve and looked closely at the design. It actually uses a type of cam design to allow the water to run through the device; NOT a straight thru pipe connection. It appears to be quality made, but the water flow design is quite different. I then ordered a Frizzlife brass feed water adapter of the same dimensions with a normal design. The problem then went completely away. Everything is now running smoothly and quiet.

This valve worked perfectly while installing an under-sink 6 stage filter, and thats saying something, because the valve provided by the filter manufacturer did not.

The JG Speedfit product SAVED ME. I needed to purchase this adapter to complete a Filtrete Model 4US-MAXL-S01 setup. Filtrete/3M sends a piece of crap plastic that never completely sealed in my under sink setup (it would leak no matter how much I used sealing products) and was easy to thread. I was so glad to find something with metal for the threaded connections while still providing the push-stop valve I needed for the water filtration system. And the little open-close valve is perfect! It allowed me to check for any leaks before hooking up the push-stop. THANK YOU, JG!

Perfect solution. I am surprised Home Depot didnt have something like this on hand. Thank you Amazon for having exactly what I needed. This is a high quality part. The plastic section rotates even after tightening down the stainless steel hoses.

Works great for adding a water line for the fridge. A lot better quality than the one that it replaced.

My new RO system leaks from its cold water intake adapters like mad only a day after installed (by me). The supplied adapter is all plastic and the part that mates with the brass water outlet feels flimsy and its washer is puny compare to what I used to. So I called Premier and was advised the problem may with faulty washer and they will send me replacements. I knew the problem may be the design/durability of the adapter itself. I doubt a new washer will solve the problem. Even if it does, I have no confidence that it will not fail again later. So I took a chance and bought this one. Using the supplied brass adapters and teflon tapes from my RO system, I am happy to report that the leak has stopped. Tested for a few days now, still bone dry under the sink. So far so good. So if your RO system ships with a lousy adapter, save the hassle and buy this one instead. For a little over $10, the peace of the mind is well worth it.

I used this after reading another review about it..... He was so right! This little adapter makes the job a lot easier and now I have a second shut off for just the under sink filter. It threads right on to the 3/8 faucet connection and then gives you a second shut off and connection point for another device, AND it swivels so you can turn it to the best angle! Worth every dollar. UPDATE, I have now used three of these! They are a great idea!
