Got this for an under the sink water filter. With this, Ill be able to easily change my filter media with very little mess.

My previous valve was twice the size and additional fittings (adapters). This just fits into the angle stop valve under the kitchen sink and the faucet host. This valve is also much easier to turn on and off.

These are hard to find locally, fit and finish was great worked well cant ask for more.

I bought the wrong size, but it does its job even if I had to swap for a different one.

Water filters like those from Culligan eg https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000THKV4O/ don’t have the right size parts for most sinks. This unit from John Guest is one of the only NSF rated tee joints with a valve you can get on Amazon. There are lots of other choices of course but I could not find any that were certified to be food safe. For me, and my drinking water, such certification makes a big difference. And this thing costs about the same as those no name uncertified brands…..so that’s a no brainer. Get the name brand with independent testing / certification. And so far it seems to be doing the trick.

The valve I received today states it is Lead Free and meets the requirements of AB 1953. Californias AB 1953 defines the term “lead free” as an average lead content of 0.25% or less. The last two letters of the part number (LF) indicate this is the lead free model. It was manufactured in the UK.

This value worked perfectly and made my job easier installing my water filtration system. Great product would defiantly recommend.

This item makes installing the filter a snap. However, the filter comes with a similar adaptor, just not the size needed to attach to standard faucet connecters. One would think that since you are paying for an adaptor with the filter it could have an either or situation?

excellent product, fit well and was exactly what I needed to get my RO system under my sink back online after installing a new faucet set for the wife. Remember, there are O-rings in this and you only have to tighten it about a half turn from hand tight. If you tighten it too tight, you may break or ruin the o-ring in the connector and cause leaks.

The two adapters I received with the Ukoke RO water filtration system were 1/2 and 3/8 sizes. But my home plumbing system is 3/8 compressed fit type. So none of those adapters worked for me. So, I found this product on amazon and tried. It worked like a charm, a happy ending to the quest of getting fresh RO filtered water.
