I bought this because its a small American company with a strong sense of quality and usefulness. And boy and I glad I took the chance and didnt get a cheap Chinese knock-off for less. This thing is wonderfully useful, build to last and the base weighs a ton and creates a really stable workstation. I use it for gluing and soldering but actually bought it for macro photography and its the best piece of photo gear Ive added to my studio in ages. I can place different elements anywhere I want and create really amazing bokeh with custom depth of field. Nice to see quality, well-thought products that contribute to our local economy. A win on all levels.

Speedy on shipping and I think this is the 3rd hand that I am looking for. I am very excited about using it in my stained glass adventure. Thank you for inventing such a nice product!

Heavy duty and well constructed material. Helping hands are magnetic and can attach to any magnetic surface. Plate is very heavy and stable.

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. The clamps work perfectly. The arms bend everyway needed and the magnetic base it really strong.

I purchased this Jumbo Workbench and the magnifying lens with led lights accessory at the same time. I have now had this for a few weeks and I am starting to question the last 10 years of my life. Honestly, I dont know how I ever functioned without this...

This will blow away those little clamps. I doubt that most people will need six clamps, as four will probably do. The magnets are strong and should hold the clamps in place well for most projects. For those soldering jobs and other crafts jobs, too, such as detail painting, this should act as that third and fourth hand that you need.

Works well. The Magnetic extra hands are super strong and stay in place. You almost have to slide them along the heavy metal plate to reposition them.

Headline pretty much sums up the pros and cons. The base is quite weighty (good thing) and the magnets in the flex arms are powerful but the flex tube itself lacks ample rigidity to hold an item that has any real mass to it. Tried using all 6 that came with the kit to hold a circuit board that is about 9 x 9 which had a reasonable amount of surface mount devices on it and the arms could not manage to keep the PCB in place while I was trying to solder the board.

Small issue with my hardware as it arrived damaged in shipping, the manufacturers response to my email was very quick and they had a replacement part out to me immediately.
