> 24 hourI was concerned after reading some negative reviews, before I received mine. I was very pleasantly surprised at how good it is! Its not perfect - not an artisan knife, a work of art; but a damn good, well designed and well made knife, of quality materials. The blade is straight. The edge grind is not entirely symmetrical, and not completely esthetically pleasing, but good. Mine arrived quite sharp. The pommel is steel, and pinned to the tang. The grip material is sticky enough. For a knife this size and this quality, the price cant be beat. I bought this one as a gift, and may buy another.

Cool dude.
> 24 hourSharp, solid, hold-value, real-knife. Leave factory sharp, is best sharpness, not to sharp or dull. Do not sharpen with smiths pocket pal will dull like crazy, only use arkansas or other advised kabar sharpeing methods. First knife i would grab if going to war.

> 24 hourWhat else can you say besides KA-BAR quality? Knife does as expected and comes really sharp right out of the box. The grip is great and holds in my hand without sliding even in rain. Something about the knife makes you feel like youre ready to tackle any obstacle, a true mans over sized knife.

A Real Review
> 24 hourI do Ka-bar in fixed blade knives more than not: have 5 of them. Cro-van 1095 is a good mid-level steel that sharpens well and stays sharp: I prefer steel over stainless for that reason and depending on what its used for, and a coating of CLR takes care of corrosion. Knife is well balanced and not too large, yet will dress game, and the serrated edge will cut through bone easily. Comfortable in the hand; grip is good in all weather. And price and warranty make a good value. Its a forever knife as all mine have been since the 1960s.
