At least that is what my son says. :) He loves this knife, and has sharpened it & is taking great care of it. He wants to take it with him everywhere (he is 14 years old). Of all the knives he has, this one is the one he uses the most.

I recently purchased this knife to supplement my emergency kit. I selected this Ka-Bar because of its reputation for being a solid, durable tool. Its sharp as heck right out of the box and it comes with a great sheath. I have several other knives (Benchmade,Gerber, and Glock) and feel that this is a worthy addition to my collection.

Got this for my cousin as a Christmas present. Couldnt resist so I took it out of the package and swung it around a bit; VERY nice blade and definitely plan on buying myself one. He also loved it and gave me a hug saying it was the best present hed gotten this year lol; he loves to hunt and fish. Would definitely recommend for an outdoorsy type in your family.

I bought it because every knife guy has one. Its an okay knife. It came more or less dull, the powder coat is kinda thick, I actually used it to stab a laptop I was getting rid up in my yard. It actually hurt my hand / wrist doing so but may have been my technique. It dulled the point so badly that you can run your finger over the point no problem. Its heavy. I cant see anyone in the military taking this knife over other options though, at least this model.

Excellent knife, I love it and it and cannot wait to use it when I get the chance to go camping.

I have the original. This is the same the handle is just more modern. Feels good in the hand. Good price. Now I have to go and Kil ah Bar!

Love this knife. As everyone does. I use it because i play with knives all the time for no reason.

Purchased as a gift for my husband to replace one he lost exactly like it. He loved his knife and was sad when he lost it so he was super happy to have a new one. His old one was about 10 years old and showed little sign of wear; if the quality is still the same Im sure hell get many years of use out of this one (at least until he loses it!)
