KA1214-BRK USA Fighting Knife, Steel

This knife lives up to the name. I got it as a wilderness/camping knife, and for occasional hunting. The knife is well-balanced, and came out of the box perfectly sharp. I enjoy the serrated edge for cutting smaller limbs, and the point on the Ka-Bar is wicked sharp. If youre looking for a tough, versatile knife, this is a great choice, although too large for everyday use or carry. The hard sheath is decent, and can even hold the knife suitably well upside down, although a little bulky for my taste. Overall, an excellent buy whether youre a knife collector or just want a good blade for the outdoors.

Exactly what my son was hoping it would be. Really met his expectations. Would recommend this product to any scout or military type person.

I bought this knife thinking that it would be a high quality knife that would last me a while. I had taken it camping with me and was trying to cut a notch into a branch. On the 3rd hit with it the entire blade snapped off at the handle and went flying. Not only is it bad that the knife is broken, but the blade could have flown and hit me. after I had pulled it out of the water it landed in I brought it back to camp where my hiking buddy was, and we noticed that the blade had already started rusting. The one I received was made with junk steel and didnt last an hour.

ok when people see KA-BAR they should automatically know this is the brand of knife i need...but this goes WAY beyond that first off the sheath is PERFECT reason being... it locks into place and it is a very secure durable hard plastic.... and now to the knife itself VERY high quality steel keeps a edge for a pretty long time.. I like to do CQC training so me and my buddies practice with these (only highly trained people who KNOW what they are doing should use these for training) but they have a good weight to them :)

Great Hunting Knife can’t wait to use it whenever I go hunting I don’t recommend you use this knife for cutting food or opening boxes because it just needlessly dulls out the knife but if you want to go ahead just make sure you use a honing rod and whetstones often when using it but 10/10 would recommend

I am no knife expert, I bought this for my husband and we both love it! Take it camping, leave it next to the bed... Durable, strong, quality... sharp.
