> 3 dayYou can literally walk anywhere. The last two winters in New England have been very icy. After falling several times, I bought a pair for myself and my husband. We hike every day and have worn them the entire winter.

> 3 dayOne of the best traction devices. Not too aggressive for normal use in the city, and good on up to very steep trails.

> 3 dayNot sure why there are some seriously bad reviews. These spikes are outstanding, such an improvement over the cheap chain or spring versions. They eyes are reinforced, the rubber is elastic enough to cooperate but not slip or pull off easily. I bought a pair for both of my parents, they loved them. They got a lot use this Holiday in Breckenridge and I did not worry about them slipping on their long walks. I have another pair for myself for winter hikes and early or late snows. Packaging is fine, they come in a storage bag (perfect for a pack) and seem like they should last a long while. Larger fit my size 13 trail runners and size 13 Merril hiking shoes. Mediums fit my womens size 9-10 trail shoes and hiking boots. They would not fit a large snow boot without sizing up, but they are not really intended for that use.

> 3 dayBought these for winter dog walking in snowy & icy conditions. Working great for gripping while walking large strong 90lb big breed dog. Don’t leave home without them!

> 3 dayGreat traction on some icy hikes (moderate hills, but still steep and slippery enough that these were really helpful. Easy to take on and off.

> 3 dayI bought Micro Spikes for my first winter in Bethel, AK. Everyone I asked around here told me to get a product with spikes; the ones with coils on the bottom just dont seem to work here. Ive been walking around sure-footed on the ice ever since I put the Micro Spikes on my boots. Seriously, I feel like I could do the elementary school shuttle run with these things on. They are easy to take off when going in the grocery store. One downfall is that they sometimes catch when walking on metal grating, so step carefully. My girlfriend has been here 3 years, has no ice cleats and refused to let me buy her a pair even after seeing how much I love mine. As luck would have it, she slipped on ice in the driveway and broke her wrist. The break was so bad that it took a flight to Anchorage, a plate and 8 screws to fix. If shed had these Micro Spikes on her boots none of that would have happened. If you walk where its icy, you need these.

> 3 dayI took a weekly hike in the local National Park all winter. This would not have been possible without the MIcrospikes. The trails I was on were 905% ice, and I trucked through it like walking on pavement. Easy to place on boots, easy to remove and easy to clean. They never felt like they were slipping on my boots either. Highly recommend the purchase if you will be on any ice or snow.

> 3 dayUsed this during late June climb up Mt Whitney. Very versatile and provided enough grip for stability at some icy cliffs.

> 3 dayPros: traction and stability with an easy on off, nice stainless steel (rinse or wash off if exposing them to salts to prevent corrosion), very secure fit and feel. You can develop small ice balls on the soles of you shoes under certian condtions but they arent snow shoes. Small and light enough to carry when weather isnt snowshoe deep. Cons: none except failing to understand these will eat up flooring like ice, and are agressive enough that these are not for slippery urban sidewalks and paved roads, spikes are long and agressive, these are for trail and heavy snow and ice where snowshoes are not warranted.
