> 3 dayBeen wearing these all winter. I started with a cheap pair from Costco, that only had a bit of rubber to pull over the tops of the toe box, but they stretch and would keep falling off while walking. I got these for hiking in the hills and sometimes there is ice or snow on the north side of the hills. I put these on, and I dont have to worry a bit about footing or slipping. You can just walk and know that you have stable footing. The stainless steel is strong, I walked across the road in them and it didnt bend them at all. Just be sure to brush off the dirt and dab them dry before putting them back in the nice bag or you will probably have a bunch of rust next time you pull them out. I really like the bag, it is small and easy to carry in the back pack so that if I come upon snow/ice I can easily get them out and put them on.

> 3 dayIf you have to walk on ice you need MicroSpikes. Keeping these in the car. I have a set of Stabilicers, and theyre good but with them you can still slip in really cold weather, they simply dont bite well in hard ice. MicroSpikes do. The M size fits fine on 10.5 shoes easily and well.

> 3 dayI am on my second pair of microspikes and cant say enough great things. Regardless of whether your going through slush, ice, snow or something in-between these spikes will keep your traction solid and steady. I have been able to navigate over terrain that most other microspikes or pseudo-crampons simply fail to gain traction on. My first pair lasted 5 years and at least 100 miles of hiking frozen water falls and other ice formations. Unless Im actually ice climbing I wont bother with real crampons anymore. These spikes provide all the necessary traction for hiking without sinking too far into the snow and ice. Additionally, unlike true crampons there is no learning curve with these; simply strap on and go. Lastly, they pack up easily and take up extremely minimal space.

> 3 dayI agree with others whove posted on these spikes. Buy one size larger than you think, or read the descriptions carefully. What fits my hiking boots would definitely be too big for my tennis shoes. Well made/sturdy.

> 3 dayWork great. Snug fit on my pac boots, so needed to put them on in the comfort of a warm cabin before I went anywhere near the lake looking like the Michelin Man :-)

> 3 dayThese seem to stay on my boots well, but I question whether they will hold up over the long run. Excellent gripping on ice.
