KAI Scissors 7250 10in Shears, Pictured

Yes they cost more but are worth every penny. The Kai 7250 cut through everything nice and smooth. Like a hot knife going through butter. This is my second pair. My wife took my first pair to her art room and didn’t want to give them back. You will not be disappointed in these beautifully made Japanese scissors.

Extremely sharp. Very durable and reliable scissors. I use for cutting leather, and other heavy duty vinyls. These things are awesome. Sharpen them once or twice every couple months and they’re perfect. Although you can never get them back to their original sharpness. Surely my favorite scissors!

First, the scissors are beyond compare. They are comfortable in the hand, well-balanced, perfectly sharp from base to tip. They cut through fabric as if cutting through butter. They give one confidence because of their superb control and balance. By far the best shears I have ever used in 40 years of sewing. I will never go back to any other brand. Second, Kai Scissors has wonderful customer service. I accidentally placed an order for the 10 shears, and when I discovered my mistake, Kai immediately shipped me an 8 pair, which is what I actually needed. They are courteous, prompt, cheerful and accurate. Thank you, Kai, for making these extraordinary shears and for your great CS. A Note: Im a woman, with pretty average-sized hands. This is a well made scissor. Very good quality. Well worth the price and cuts fabric with ease!

I now own the 10, 6, and 4 Kais in the 7000 series. Im not sure you can find a finer scissor anywhere. All sizes are perfectly balanced.

UPDATE: The Kai are spotless and supreme among scissors. My now 92 year old mother and (still ageless) sister use their Kai scissors frequently and still love them. Perhaps youre doubting the reviews for Kai scissors or feeling put-off by the price tag. Believe the reviews and buy Kai scissors! Yes, they are heavier than my Henckels, but the smoothness! The cutting ability! The total ease of use and durability of edge is unparalleled! My 90-year-old mother and my sister (age omitted for my protection) have been seamstresses since their teens, and both are thrilled with the Kai scissors I gave them. Kai scissors are worth their cost and will surprise new customers even after reading all the praise.

These are the best scissors ever. So glad I bought these. They cut through several layers of fabric with so much ease. So worth the price.

Best dressmaking scissors Ive ever had, other than the first pair of 8 Kais I bought a couple of years ago. Being a little larger, these allow for easier large cuts. As for the handle size being too large for some reviewers, I didnt find this to be the case. The handle is larger than on the 8 shears, but they really have to be to maintain a good balance. Love, love, love Kai!
