> 3 dayEven though they are large they fit comfortably in small hands. Great long, sharp blades that so far cut through all kinds of fabric with easy. Especially work well with stretchy fabric.

> 3 dayI now own the 10, 6, and 4 Kais in the 7000 series. Im not sure you can find a finer scissor anywhere. All sizes are perfectly balanced.

> 3 dayWhat a difference! Too early to tell how well they will hold their edge but for now its the best Ive ever used. Light weight (at least they feel that way), balanced, comfortable in my hand and sharp. I cut through Sunbrella plus like it was paper without having to scissor - got on my line and followed it to the end. My Gingher scissors are now a distant second in preference - and theyre pretty good.

> 3 dayBest dressmaking scissors Ive ever had, other than the first pair of 8 Kais I bought a couple of years ago. Being a little larger, these allow for easier large cuts. As for the handle size being too large for some reviewers, I didnt find this to be the case. The handle is larger than on the 8 shears, but they really have to be to maintain a good balance. Love, love, love Kai!

> 3 dayOH.MY.GOODNESS. Pattern cut out about 20% of the way, new scissors arrived, so I raced to my cutting table to try them out! (Dont worry, I had the scissors pointed down, never run w/scissors! LOL) Excited, I cut about 12 along the edge of a sleeve, and was so freaking impressed, I had to stop and write this review. These are amazing, JUST AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Cutting the fleece is like cutting through warm butter, no resistance, smooth as silk. The handle is incredibly comfortable, and sized perfectly for my hands. I can see me cutting many many yards of fabric with these scissors. I have a lot of trouble with my hands, and I can tell within a minute if the grip isnt going to work. The grip/feel of the KAI is pure heaven. So what was I using/what have I used before? Fiskars Softouch Spring Action Titanium Nitride Scissor 8 - they chew, they dont cut. Theyre horrid. Ginghers - I had Ginghers for many years. They were always too small for my hands and very uncomfortable/painful to use if I cut a lot, or cut heavy fabrics. They were better than the Fiskars, but oh man, the Ginghers never cut with the smooth flow of these KAI. Why did I buy the initial set of Fiskars? Well... I returned to sewing after a 15+ year hiatus. Reading reviews, I bought the FISKARS Softouch Spring Action Titanium Nitride Scissor 8 (~62.00) based on reviews. At the time, I also bought a little tiny pair of KAI scissors. I wasnt familiar with the KAI brand, but a quilting instructor swore by the little ones, and nobody I know sews, so I was sort of a green horn where scissors were concerned. My Ginghers were mauled by paper cutting children, and relocated to one of my childrens homes never to be seen again. :) Save yourself aggravation and discomfort. These 8 KAI Prof. Shears are everything you could wish for, and then some. Yeah, theyre 55 bucks, but youll get what you pay for! Those Fiskars are now 62.00 paper scissors, banished to the gift wrapping box... Call me a KAI fan forever.

Greater than one weekthese large scissors are perfect. Don’t have good strength in my hands, but these Kai 10 inch scissors are easy to use. They have some weight to them but because they are balanced and the scissor action so smooth, when I cut they are light as a feather. Finger holes are so comfortable to grasp and the blades cut fabric like a hot knife through butter. Have a variety of high quality scissors but am a Kai convert.
