> 24 hourThis is one of those things I didnt think I would need as much as I ended up actually using. I put 2 on a couple lamps, loved them. Work seamlessly with Alexa. Then I ordered a couple more. Then I found out they integrate into the Ring / Alexa Guard alarm system and order a couple more so the alarm system can rotate lights on and off to look like Im home when Im not. Then 2 more for a couple fans. Then another for Christmas lights on the tree... Seriously, they are so handy, youll order more. Might as well just get them up front and save your self some time. LOL

> 24 hourThis is one of my favorite smart devices. I have a few of my own and have given a few as gifts. Super easy to set up and works great with both Alexa and Google Home. Loved using it with my Christmas tree.

> 24 hourI have a few of the TP-Link products in my home, and this switch works the same as the bigger ones, but doesnt take up all of the space of the whole outlet. Works fine, was easy to install (like the others). Doesnt seem to loose connectivity very often (once in a while, but not enough to fuss about). They do integrate with Alexa, but we dont use Alexa anymore once we stopped using a firestick, and we dont have Alexa units around the house. I just use the mobile app, and it works fine.

> 24 hourI use these with Google home and theyre SUPER simple to set up. I have 4 of them controlling lights around my house and they do exactly what I need them to do... Just turn lights on and off! I use the schedule feature for each wall plug so the lights automatically turn on around the time my partner gets home from work, and then shuts off by around 10pm each night to save on electricity. Works consistently every time!

> 24 hourHave no idea what these people who had trouble settling up are talking about. Took me 5 minutes to set up and integrate with Alexa. This is my third one and they work great and are very reliable.

> 24 hourIve used several of these now for the past year. They integrate seamlessly with Alexa, so I can use Alexa to turn my lights on or off using voice commands. You can also set up the Kasa Smart Plug to work like a timer, to turn your lights on or off at specific times or simulate being home with random on and off times. Ive replace most of my previous timers with these and plan to add a few more to eliminate all my prior old-fashioned timers. They have no problem finding my WiFi network. These have a nice small size, so they leave the other outlet on duplex outlets free. Once you have them set up, you can pretty much forget them. They just work like youd expect.

> 24 hourI use these plugs with Google assistant for a variety of lights and devices around the home. Of course, I have a couple of lights on them, but also a laptop and other devices. Either the TP-Link Kasa software or Google Assistant (with a Routine) can be used to set up scheduled on/off. This is not only great for lights, but if you have a laptop or other battery powered device, leaving it attached to a plugged in charger for long periods can reduce battery life over time. With these plugs I charge my laptop for a 90 minutes a few times a week, which should preserve the battery over the long term. The other thing to consider with smart devices is that youll have to have an account not only with Google or Alexa, but also with the device manufacturer (e.g., TP-Link), so its a good idea to pick a few brands of devices and stick to them (e.g., TP-Link smart plugs, Feit Electric smart bulbs in my house.) These often go on sale, so pick up a 2 or 4 pack if you can use them for things like holiday lights, too! The primary drawback -- common to virtually all of these -- is that it only works with a 2.4 gHz band Wifi. Since the 5 gHz band is faster and generally less crowded, it would be nice if they upgraded these for both wifi bands.

> 24 hourI bought this for my espresso machine. I have no complaints. It is scheduled to come on and does just that. After a few hours it will auto shut off. The app works easily too. Will certainly buy more. I use with google

> 24 hourIts very easy to set up with the Kasa app and works great with Alexa/Echo. Its not expensive and can add a bit of home automation. I bought two of these small plugs for our TVs and an outdoor one for our inflatable pool. It does add some bulk to the plug so make sure you make room for that. The plug goes straight in. Here is a picture of the TV plugged into the Kasa Plug, then into our surge protector behind our media cabinet.

> 24 hourI am very happy with the Kasa Smart Plug. I bought it to replace my Wemo Mini which I have had for about 3 years. Ive had problems with the Wemo as I would have to manually reset the plug and reconnect it to my network, especially when my internet goes out and comes back. Ive been using the Kasa plug for about a week now and have had no problems with it. My internet has gone out several times and I even had to reset my router modem to factory defaults. After I put back in the same SSID and password that I used before, I didnt have to set back up my Kasa. It automatically reconnected. As you can see from the pictures, the Kasa plug is shorter than the Wemo. My Wemo plug overlapped the wallplate but the Kasa is about the same width as the wallplate. I like that the button is on the side as well. Setting it up was very easy. There are no instructions in the box but on the box (see pic). I simply downloaded the app and followed the prompts. The app did seem to get stuck when it was connecting the plug to my network so I had to close the app and open it back and then it connected quickly. I also love the app interface. It is clean and I love the way the graphics look. The only thing I would say that I didnt care for was the blue led light. Im a person that needs complete darkness to sleep so I had to use black electric tape to take off the side. I wish manufacturers of smart plugs would put in an option to turn off the led light from within the app. Overall I am very happy with the Kasa as it was half the price of my Wemo mini, reconnects after my internet drops, and has a much nicer app interface.
