This smart Plug was super frustrating to setup, it took me about an hour. The app wouldnt connect until somehow it did. Since then though it has been great, I have 2 and theyve never unpaired or lost connection or anything like that.

I have ordered/installed and configured numerous TP Link Kasa Smart Plugs as well as light switches in my home. They have worked better than I could have ever imagined! Easy integration with Amazon Echo/Alexa! I’ve not only set up scheduled routines, but vocal command “scenes” If you’ve ever set up a similar product (ie connect phone to Kasa device via Wifi, enter your Wifi Info/configure/Name and Done!) These are a great value!

Great product! In my situation it’s hard to reach where I have my night lights plugged in. This smart plug makes it super easy to turn on the lights at dusk without struggling to reach the outlet. I did not connect to Alexa nor did I need tech support so I have no comment on that. The installation steps were easy to follow but just a little frustrating waiting for it to connect. I had to retry several times.

Rather that plug/unplug Christmas lights in three places multiple times a day, I tried these this year. It was great! I just opened the app and tap-tap-tap the lights on/off as I wanted throughout each day. I mightve been able to make Scene to do it all in one-tap, but it so easy already that I didnt bother. There was generally a couple seconds delay as the app connected after a period of non-use. Once or twice this was a bit longer. Overall no issue. Ill probably find more good uses during the rest of the year and use these again.

Ive tired several of these types of devices and although most of them work fairly reliably, this one s the best Ive used. It works through an app called Kasa. This one is very responsive and turns off and on just about instantaneously when the switch in the app is tapped. Others Ive used are not nearly as responsive. This one is similar in speed to turning a light switch on and off. One minor downside is that the app doesnt yet have ability to create a schedule. A workaround is to use Alexa to create a schedule in the Alexa app. Construction seems high-quality. I have had this only a few days, so I cant speak to its long term reliability.

Ive been using my TP-Link HS103 Kasa Smart Plug Lite for a few months now and it does exactly what its supposed to do very reliably! I use it to turn my lights on and off on a schedule and remotely. As the mornings have become darker (before DST) Ive set up a schedule for it to turn on in the morning about the time I get up and to turn off when Im gone for work and it comes on before I arrive home, staying on until bed time. I often go to bed before the timer, but I love that I can turn it off from my room and my path was illuminated to get there! The one thing I dont like is the random on-off-on away from home feature, it turns off more often than I would if I were home, for longer duration, I really want it to stay on, Id rather that it just adjusted the times that it came on at the beginning of the evening and then off at bed time. If someone were casing my home, theyd be used to my pattern of leaving it on, so I just use my regular schedule when Im away.

Ive used several of these now for the past year. They integrate seamlessly with Alexa, so I can use Alexa to turn my lights on or off using voice commands. You can also set up the Kasa Smart Plug to work like a timer, to turn your lights on or off at specific times or simulate being home with random on and off times. Ive replace most of my previous timers with these and plan to add a few more to eliminate all my prior old-fashioned timers. They have no problem finding my WiFi network. These have a nice small size, so they leave the other outlet on duplex outlets free. Once you have them set up, you can pretty much forget them. They just work like youd expect.

I was hesitant about this after seeing some reviews, but gave it a try after I saw maintenance left my light on for hours in my apartment via my security camera. This was easy to install, works whenever i’m not home, and eases my worry about my light being left on while i’m not at work. I can’t really ask for much more...for $10 - it’s a steal.

This is one of my favorite smart devices. I have a few of my own and have given a few as gifts. Super easy to set up and works great with both Alexa and Google Home. Loved using it with my Christmas tree.
